Electro-Motive GP35 Diesels
978 was built in December 1963, #28300, FN 7668-1. It became Burlington Northern 2524, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in March 1990. It became BN 2913, Class GP-39E, in March 1990 and later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2913, Class GP-39E, in April 2001. It became Class GP-39R and sold to Watco Inc as WAMX 3914, in November 2011.
979 was built in December 1965, #28301, FN 7668-2. It became BN 2525, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive on December 28, 1989, as 2932, Class GP-39E. It became BNSF 2932, Class BP-39E, and became Class GP-39R.
981 was built in December 1963, #28303, FN 7668-4. It became BN 2527, Class GP-35, in 1970 and retired in March 1987. It was sold for scrap to St Louis Auto Shredding in August 1987.
982 was built in March 1964, #28979, FN 7711-1. It became BN 2528, Class GP-35, in 1970 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive on March 23, 1990, as 2916, Class GP-39E. It became BNSF 2916, Class GP-39E, in August 2004 and became Class GP-39R.
988 was built in June 1964, #28983, FN 7719-3. It became BN 2534, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in August 1990. It became BN 2936, Class GP 39E, and became BNSF 2936, Class GP-39E, in August 2001. It became Class GP-39R, and sold as WAMX 3916.
989 was built in June 1964, #28984, FN 7719-4. It became BN 2535, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in October 1989. It became BN 2928, Class GP-39E, and became BNSF 2928, Class GP-39E, in September 2001. It became Class GP-30R and sold as WAMX 3915.
991 was built in June 1964, #28986, FN 7719-6. It became BN 2537, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in July 1990. It became BN 2901, Class GP-39E, on July 12, 1990, and later became BNSF 2901, Class GP-39E, on July 2001. It became Class GP-39R.
995 was built in October 1964, #29285, FN 7719-10. It became BN 2541, Class GP-35, in 1970 and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in August 1990. It became BN 2938, Class GP-39E, on August 28, 1990, and became BNSF 2938, Class GP-39E. It became Class GP-39R.
