Electro-Motive SD7 Diesels

6005, Class SD-7, was built in May 1952, #16104, FN 5146-6, as Great Northern 555, Class SD-7. It became BN 6005, Class SD-7, in 1970. It was retired in August 1983 and sold to Pielet Bros for scrap in October 1983.

6008, Class SD-7, was built in May 1952, 16107, FN 5146-9, as GN 558, Class SD-7.  It became BN 6008, Class SD-7. in 1970.  It was retired in August 1983, and sold to Cargill  Co CRGX 6008 in November 1983.  It was donated to Minnesota Transportation Museum in 2017 and the plan is to restore as GN 558.

6018, Class SD-7, was built in March 1953, #17899, FN 5182-4, as GN 568, Class SD-7. It became BN 6018, Class SD-7, in 1970. It was retired in Augast 1983 and was sold to Joseph Simons and Sons for scrap in September 1983.

6034, Class SD-7, was built in July 1953, #18331, FN 5242-12, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 311.  It became BN 6034, Class SD-7, in 1970 and retired in August 1983.  It was sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers Co in December 1983.

6042, Class SD-7, was built in September 1952, #18339, FN 5242-20, as CB&Q 319.  It became BN 6042, Class SD-7, in 1970 and retired in October 1982.  It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in October 1982.

6052, Class SD-7, was built in November 1952, #17400, FN 5140-5, as CB&Q 404.  It became BN 6052, Class SD-7, in 1970 and retired in Auguts 1983.  It was sold to Joseph Simons & Sons for scrap in October 1983.

6056, Class SD-7, was built in December 1952, #17404, FN 5140-9, as CB&Q 408.  It became BN 6056, Class SD-7, in 1970 and retired in August 1983.  It was sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers Co in December 1983.

6059, Class SD-7, was built in December 1952, #17407, FN 5140-12, as CB&Q 411.  It became BN 6059, Class SD-7, in 1970 and retired in August 1983.  It was sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers Co in December 1983.

6070, Class SD-7, was built in January 1953, #17129, FN 6274-1, as Colorado & Southern 810.  It was renumbered 6070, Class SD-7, in August 1979, and became BN 6070, Class SD-7, in January 1982,  It was retired in May 1983 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap in July 1983.

6071, Class SD-7, was built in January 1953, #17130, FN 6274-2, as C&S 811.  It was renumbered 6071, Class SD-7, in August 1979, and became BN 6071, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired in May 1983 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap in July 1983.

6072, Class SD-7, was built in January 1953, #17131, FN 6274-3, as C&S 812.  It was renumbered 6072, Class SD-7, in August 1979 and became BN 6072, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired in May 1983 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap in July 1983.

6074, Class SD-7, was built in February 1953, #17133, FN 6274-5, as C&S 814.  It was renumbered 6074, Class SD-7, in August 1979 and became BN 6074, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired in May 1983 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap in July 1983.

6079, Class SD-7, was built in February 1953, #17261, FN 6274-10, as C&S 819.  It was renumbered 6079, Class SD-7, in August 1979 and became BN 6079, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired and sold as Iowa RR 6079 in July 1983.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in December 1987.

6080, Class SD-7, was built in March 1953, #17121, FN 6468-1, as Fort Worth & Denver 850.  It was renumbered 6080, Class SD-7, in August 1979 and became BN 6080, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired in May 1983 and sold for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal in July 1983.

6081, Class SD-7, was built in March 1953, #17122, FN 6468-2, as FW&D 851.  It was renumbered 6081, Class SD-7. in August 1979 and became BN 6081, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired in July 1983 and sold to Iowa RR as 6081 in July 1983.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in December 1987.

6082, Class SD-7, was built in March 1953, #17123, FN 6468-3, as FW&D 852.  It was renumbered 6082, Class SD-7, in August 1979 and became BN 6082, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired in July 1983 and sold to Iowa RR as 6082 in July 1983.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in December 1987.

6089, Class SD-7, was built in October 1953, #17922, FN 5249-2, as FW&D 859.  It was renumbered 6089, Class SD-7, in August 1979 and became BN 6089, Class SD-7, in January 1982.  It was retired in July 1983 and sold to Iowa as 6089 in July 1983.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in December 1987.
