CO&E 17 was built by Canadian Locomotive Co in January 1940, #1959, as Roberval & Saguenay Ry 17. It was sold to John Thomspon in 1970 and sold as Crab Orchard & Eastern 17 in February 1975. It was sold to B&SV in 1987 and is on display.
Chicago South Shore & South Bend 102 was built by Pullman in 1926, #4936. It was lengthened in 1944. Air conditioning and picture windows came in 1950. It was sold to B&SV in 1983.
CSS&SB 109 was built by Pullman in 1926, #4936. It was lengthened in 1944. Air conditioning and picture windows came in 1949. It was sold as B&SV in 1984.
"M&StL 244", RS1, was built by Alco in November 1951, #79577, as Lake Superior & Ishpeming 1003. It was sold as Calumet & Hecla Inc 205 in December 1967 and sold as Continental Grain Co 205. It became Central Counties Co-op 205 and given to the Iowa Railway Historical Society. It was sent to the B&SV and repainted as Minneapolis & St Louis 244 in 2008.
Norfolk & Western 475, Class M, was built by Baldwin in June 1906, #28343. It was on display at Roanoke in 1960 but sold for scrap to Virginia Scrap Iron & Metal in 1962. It was sold to William Armagost in 1962 and sold to Pellas Historical Society at Illinois Railway Museum in 1980. It was sold to C Rosenberg for B&SC in 1985 and sold to Strasburg RR in July 1991. It was restored in November 1993. in July 1991. It was restored in November 1993.
751, GP9m, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1957, #22881, FN 7540-1, as Minneapolis & St Louis 603. It became Chicago & North Western 603 and was rebuilt at Oelwein in May 1972 as 4304. It was retired on December 12, 1988, and sold as Fox River Valley RR 4304. It later became Wisconsin Central Ltd 4304. It was resold as Wisconsin & Southern RR 751 and sold to Midwest Locomotive Works and leased to Farmers Coop Co (Dows, IA) but apparently never relettered. It was traded in to B&SV as 751 in February 2020.
1003, NW2, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1942, #1553, FN E445-15, as Grand Trunk Western 7914, Class Q-5-a. It was sold to Precision National Corp in 1973 and sold as Chicago & North Western 1003 on June 6, 1973. It was retired March 10, 1986 and sold to B&SV in March 1986. It was later painted and lettered as BSVY 1003.

1103, TR2B, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1949, #6892, FN E11033-B7, as Chicago Great Western 65-B. It became C&NW 65-B in 1968 and renumbered 1103 on September 24, 173. It was retired on March 10, 1986, and sold to B&SV in March 1986
Metra 1506 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1971, #1F, as Illinois Central 1506. It became Metra 1506 in 1987. It was acquired by B&SV 1506 in 2007.

1858, 45 Ton, was built by General Electric in January 1944, #18042, as United States Army 8534. It was sold as University of Iowa 1858 and leased as B&SV 1858.
2254, 60 Ton, was built by General Electric in June 1943, #17903, as United States Air Force 7858. It was sold as B&SV 2254 and repainted as "Fort Dodges Des Moines & Southern" 2254.
2931, SD40T-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1979, #786174-64, FN 786174-64, as Southern Pacific 8562, Class EF630-8. It became Union Pacific 4502, Class SD40T-2, on November 11, 1997, and renumbered 2931 on June 11, 2001. It was retired on December 5, 2008, and donated as B&SV 2931 on March 18, 2010.
5202, NW2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1949. #10261, FN 6019-3, as Chesapeake & Ohio 5202, Class SE-10. It was reclassified Class NW-2 in 1964 and sold as Bondurant Grain Express 5202 in 1986. It went to B&SV in 1991.
6540, FP9A, was built by General Motors in July 1958, #A1400, C242-A8, as Canadian National 6540, Class DPA-17e. It became Via Rail Canada 6450, Class DPA-17e, on March 31, 1971, and sold to Rail Enterprise Inc on February 19, 1994. It was sold to Victor Hekoski in 1994 and sold at B&SV 6540 in 2002.
JS8419 was built at Datong Locomotive Works in May 1989, #8419. It was shipped to Iowa in 1989.
