Electro-Motive NW1/NW2/TR2 Locomotives
91, NW1, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1938, #829, FN E210-1, as Minneapolis & St Louis D7-738. It was renumbered 91 in March 1956 and Chicago & North Western 91. It was rebuilt as BU-6, slug, on May 7, 1963, and retired on May 1, 1980. It was sold for scrap to Striegel Supply & Equipment Co on July 1980.
1003, NW2, was built in March 1942, #1553, FN E445-15, as Grand Trunk Western 7914, Class Q-5-a. It was sold to Precision National Corp in 1973 and sold as C&NW1003 on June 6, 1973. It was retired March 10, 1986 and sold tp Boone & Scenic Valley RR in March 1986. It was later painted and lettered as BSVY 1003.
1013, TR2A, was built in August 1949, #6884, FN E1033-A6, as Chicago Great Western 64-A, Class D-4. It became C&NW 64-A in 1968 and was renumbered 1013 on August 22, 1973. It was retired on April 12, 1990, and sold to Wilson Railway Co. It was sold to Heart of Iowa Cooperative 1013 on June 27, 2003.
1015, TR2A, was built in July 1949, #6885, FN E1033-A7, as CGW 63-A. It became C&NW 63-A in 1968 and was renumbered 1015 on July 18, 1974. It was retired on July 15, 1986, and traded to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St. Louis Auto Shredding.
1016, NW2, was built in March 1949, #8603, FN E1192-1, as CGW 30, Class D-3. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive and became C&NW 1016 in July 1971. It was retired on July 28, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St. Louis Auto Shredding.
1022, NW2, was built in May 1948, #5540, FN E916-4, as CGW 20, Class D-3. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in December, 1953. It became C&NW 20 in 1970 and was renumbered 1022 on April 24, 1973. It was retired on February 17, 1981, and sold to Precision National Corp.
1027, NW2, was built in May 1948, #5544, FN E916-8, as CGW 24, Class D-3. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in December, 1953. It became C&NW 24 in 1970 and was renumbered 1027 on January 24, 1974. It was retired on February 17, 1981, and sold to Precision National Corp.
1028, NW2, was built in June 1948, #6253. FN E989-1, as CGW 25, Class D-3. It became C&NW 1028 on May 4, 1973. It was retired on February 19, 1981, and sold to Precision National Corp.
1029, NW2, was built in June 1948, #6254, FN E989-2, as CGW 26, Class D-3. It became C&NW 1029 on July 29, 1973. It was retired on February 18, 1981, and sold to Precision National Corp.
1032, NW2, was built in June 1948, #6257, FN E989-5, as CGW 29, Class D-3. It became C&NW 29 in 1968 and was renumbered 1032 on May 20, 1973. It was retired on February 18, 1981, and sold to Precision National Corp.
1038, NW2, was built in May 1939, #844, FN E235-1, as Minneapolis & St Louis D-139. It was renumbered 100 in May 1956 and became C&NW 100 in 1960. It was renumbered 1038 on September 7, 1974, and retired on July 28, 1986. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986 and scrapped by St Louis Auto Shredding.
1103, TR2B, was built in August 1949, #6892, FN E11033-B7, as CGW 65-B. It became C&NW 65-B in 1968 and renumbered 1103 on September 24, 173. It was retired on March 10, 1986, and sold to Boone & Scenic Valley RR in March 1986
1104, TR2B, was built in July 1949, #6890, FN E1033-B5, as CGW 63-B. It became C&NW 63-B in 1968 and was renumbered 1104 on August 9, 1974. It was retired on July 15, 1986, and traded to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St. Louis Auto Shredding.
1105, TR2B. was built in July 1949, #6887, FN E1033-B2, as CGW 60-B, Class D-4. It became C&NW 60-B in 1968 and was renumbered on August 2, 1974 as 1105. It was retired on July 28, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St. Louis Auto Shredding.
2000-A, TR2A, was built in October 1949, #10021, FN E1305-A1. It was renumbered 1009 on June 25, 1973. It was retired on July 15, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St. Louis Auto Shredding.
2000-B, TR2B, was built in October 1949, #10023, FN E1305-B1. It was rebuilt at Chicago as slug BU-4 and completed on December 15, 1961. It was retired on May 1, 1980, and sold for scrap to Streigel Supply & Equipment Co in July 1980.
2001-A, TR2A, was built in October 1949, #10022, FN E1305-A2. It was renumbered 2001 in June 1962 and rebuilt as 1010 on September 25, 1973. It was retired on April 12, 1990, and sold to Wilson Railway in April 1990. It was sold to Cargill Co as CRGX 90.
