This growing company is a dealer and leasor of locomotives. This is a historical information site and we have no connection with the company. We have found that a person was somewhat confusing in the basic purpose of this site.

7000-7999

 

7009, SD50, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1985, #847049-10, FN 847049-10, as Chicago & North Western 7009.  It was assigned Union Pacific 5069 but retired on April 20, 2001.  It was sold as NRE 7009.

7213, SD40-2, was built by General Motors in June 1980, #A3922, FN C423-8, as Burlington Northern 7213, Class SD40-2.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 7213, Class SD40-2, in March 2000 and sold to First Union Rail as  as FURX 7213 in February 2002.  It was sold as NREX 7213 in 2010 amd sold to Watco Inc as WAMX 4193 in 2013.

7246, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1980, #786252-11, FN 786252-11, as BN 7246, Class SD40-2.  It was assigned BNSF 7246, Class SD40-2, but never relettered.  It was sold as FURX 7246 in February 2002.  It was sold as NREX 7246 in 2010 and sold as WAMX 4195 in 2013.

1st 7250, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1984, #847046-3, FN 847046-3, as St Louis South-Western 7250, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to Union Pacific  as 5220, Class GP40-2,  in March 1997 and later assigned 1320 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, as NREX  7250.  It was rebuilt as Fort Worth & Western 2009 "Chisholm Trail".

2nd 7250, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1980, #786252-15, FN 786252-15, as BN 7250, Class SD40-2.  It was assigned BNSF 7250, Class SD40-2, but never relettered.  It was sold as FURX 7250 in February 2002.  It was sold as NREX 7250 in 2010 and sold as WAMX 4168 in 2011.

7251, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1984, #847065-4, FN 847046-4, as SSW 7251, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5221, Class GP40-2, in March 1997 and later assigned 1321 in December 1999.  It was returned to National Railway Equipment Co on April 7, 2000, as NREX 7251.  It was sold to Iowa Chicago & Eastern as 4208 "City of Janesville" in January 2003.  It was returned to Helm Leasing as HLCX 4208 in 2012.

7254, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1984, #847946-7, FN 847946-7, as SSW 7254, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5224, Class GP40-2, in March 1997 and later assigned 1324 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, and as NRE 7254.  It was sold to Paducah & Louisville and rebuilt as GP38-3 3803.

7257, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1984, #847046-10, FN 847946-10, as SSW 7257, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5227, Class GP40-2, in March 1997 and later assigned 1327 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, and as NRE 7257.  It was sold to PAL and rebuilt as GP38-3 3805.

7261, GP40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1984, #847046-14, FN 847046-14, as SSW 7261, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5231 in March 1997 and later assigned 1331 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, and as NRE 7261.  It was sold to PAL and rebuilt as GP38-3 3807.

7265, GP40-2 was built by Electro-Motive in October 1984, #847046-18, FN 847046-18, as SSW 7265, Class EF430W-4..  It was assigned to UP as 5234 in March 1997 and later assigned 1334 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, as NRE 7265.  It was sold to PAL and rebuilt as GP38-3 3809.

7287, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1980, #786252-52, FN 786252-52, as BN 7287, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7287, Class SD40-2, in June 2001 and sold as FURX 7287 in February 2002.  It was sold as NREX 7287 in 2010 and sold as WAMX 4196.

7343, SD40R, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31533, FN 7861-43, as Southern Pacific 8452, Class EF630-1.  It was rebuilt as 7343, Class E630R-1, in December 1980, and sold as NRE 7343 in October 1999.

7346, SD40R, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31543, FN 7861-53, as SP 8462, Class EF630-1.  It was rebuilt as 7346, Class EF630R-1, in January 1981 and retired on June 29, 1998.  It was sold as NREX 7346 and sold to WATCo as WAMX 4121.

7350, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73682-2, FN 73682-2, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 183, Class 30-ERS-6.  It was renumbered Soo Line RR 6350 in 1985.  In July 1989 it was sold to General American Transportation Corp as GATX 6350.  It was later renumbered 9350 and then later 7350.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 7350 and sold to WATCo as WAMX 4128.

7353, SD40R, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31530, FN 7861-40, as SP 8449, Class EF630-1.  It was rebuilt as 7353, Class EF630LR-1, in February 1981 and retired on December 23, 1998.  It was sold to NRE as 7353 and sold as Fort Worth & Western RR 2016 "Sundance Kid".

7363, SD40R, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1966, #31521. FN 7861-31, as SP 8440, Class EF630-1.  It was rebuilt as 7363, Class EF630R-1, in April 1981 and retired on January 21, 2002.  It was sold as NRE 7363 and sold as FWWR 2017 "Kid Curry".

7368, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1975, #74690-38, FN 74690-38, as Missouri Pacific 3201.  It became Union Pacific 4201, on April 11, 1988, and retired on April 19, 1990.  It was sold to General American Transportation Corp as GATX 7368 and relettered as GSCX 7368.  It was sold as NREX 7368 in 2007.

7374, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1975, #74690-4, FN 74690-4, as MP 3167.  It became UP 4167, Class SD40-2, on June 15, 1987, and retired on April 19, 1990.  It was sold as GATX 7374 and relettered as GSCX 7374.  It was sold as NREX 7374 in 2007.

7480, C39-8, was built by General Electric in June 1986, #45328, as Consolidated Railroad Corp 6001, Class C39-8.  It became CSX Transportation 7480, Class Dash8-39C, in September 1999, and retired in 2006.  It was sold as NREX 7480.

7482, C39-8, was built by General Electric in July 1986, #45332, as Conrail 6005, Class C39-8.  It became CSX 7482, Class Dash8-39C, in September 1999, and retired on April 15, 2005.  It was sold as NREX 7482 and sold as Savage Alberta RR 7482.  It was scrapped at Woodcrast, IL, in December 2007.

7484, C39-8, was built by General Electric in July 1986, #45334, as Conrail 6007, Class C39-8.  It became CSX 7484, Class Dash8-39C, in September 1999, and retired on April 15, 2005.  It was sold  as NREX 7484 and sold as SAR 7484.  It was scrapped at Woodcrast, IL, in December 2007.

7708, GP7u, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1951, #14715, FN 5103-2, as Detroit Toledo & Ironton 951.  It was rebuilt at Paducah in April 1974 as Illinois Central Gulf 7708.  It was later sold as NRE 7708.

7937, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1980, #786252-70, FN 786252-70, as Colorado & Southern 7937, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 7937, Class SD40-2, and assigned as BNSF 7937, Class SD40-2, but not relettered.  It was sold as FURX 7937 in February 2002 and sold as NREX 7937.  It was sold as WAMX 4194.
