Diesel Locomotives

 

2, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1963, #27773, FN 5655-2.  It was acquired by Southern Ry and rebuilt as 181 in 1974.  It was retired in March 1986 and sold to Gibbs Railway Equipment in October 1986.  It was sold as Otter Tail Valley RR 181 and resold as Diesel Locomotive Co 181 in 2007.

4, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1963, #27775, FN 5655-4.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 183 in 1974.  It was retired in March 1985 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

7, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1963, #27778, FN 5655-7.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 186 in 1974.   It was retired in March 1985 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

9, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1963, #27780, FN 5655-9.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 188 in 1974.   It was retired in March 1985 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

10, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1963, #27781, FN 5655-10.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 189 in 1974.  It was retired in March 1986 and sold to Gibbs Railway Equipment in October 1986.  It was sold as OTVR 189.

11, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1963, #27782, FN 5655-11.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 190 in 1974.  It was retired in March 1985 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

14, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1963, #27785, FN 5655-14.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 193 in 1974.  It was retired in March 1985 and traded in to Electro-Motive in October 1985.

15, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1963, #27786, FN 5655-15.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 194 in 1974.   It was retired in March 1986 and sold to Gibbs Railway Equipment in October 1986.  It was sold as OTVR 194 and retired.

17, GP18, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1963, #28353, FN 5655-17.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as 196 in 1974.  It was retired in March 1985 and traded in to Electro-Motive in October 1985

661, DS4-4-660, was built by Baldwin in January 1947, #73361.  It was scrapped on June 4, 1965.

701, 70 Ton, was built by General Electric in Jun 1948, #30013.  It became Southern Ry 701 in 1974 and sold as Laurinburg & Southern 110 in 1978.

703, 70 Ton, was built by General Electric in June 1948, #30015.

1501, DRS6-4-1500, was built by Baldwin in October 1947, #73487.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive on May 25, 1966.

1508, DRS4-4-1500, was built by Baldwin in March 1948, #73494.  It was rebuilt and sold as Durham & Southern 365 on February 5, 1966.  It was sold as Morehead & Morgan Fork 365 in September 1974 and later sold to Southern Rails Inc.  It was sold as Hobet Mining & Construction Co 101.

1609, AS416, was built by Baldwin in September 1952, #75723.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in March 1974 and scrapped in April 1974.

1615, AS416, was built by Baldwin in March 1955, #76038.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in March 1974 and scrapped in April 1974.

1616, AS416, was built by Baldwin in December 1955, #76112.  It was sold to Precision National Corp as PNCX in March 1974 and sold as Peabody Coal Co 1616

1617, AS416, was built by Baldwin in December 1955, #76114.  It was sold to Precision National Corp in March 1974 and scrapped in April 1974.

2001, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1966, #31782, FN 7895-1.  It was acquired by Southern Ry and rebuilt as Carolina & Northwestern 2880 in 1974. It was sold as Luxapalila Valley RR 2880 in 1996.

2002, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1966, #31783, FN 7895-2.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as CRN 2881 in 1974.  It was sold as Georgia & Florida Railnet RR 2881 and sold to Gulf & Ohio as 2881.  It was rebuilt by Knoxville Locomotive Works as KLWX 2250, a KLW20B, in 2012.

2004, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1966, #32309, FN 7952-2.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as Carolina & Northwestern 2883 in 1974.  It was sold to G&O as 2883.

2005, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1967, #32491, FN 7937-1.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as CRN 2884 in 1974.  It was sold as LXVR 2884 in 1996.

2006, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1967, #32492, FN 7937-2.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as CRN 2885 in 1974. It was sold as LXVR 2885 in 1996 and rebuilt as Bay Line RR 2060 in May 2013.

2007, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1967, #32493, FN 7937-3.  It was acquired by Southern and rebuilt as CRN 2886 in 1974.  It was sold as Georgia & Florida Ry 2886 and sold to J&L Consulting as JLCX 2886.
