Electro-Motive SW7 Diesels

8845, Class SW-7, was built in January 1950, #8136, FN E1136-10, as Indiana Harbor Belt 8845, Class DES-16b. It was reclassified as Class ES-12 in 1966 and became New York Central 8845, Class ES-12, in 1967. It then became Penn Central 8845, Class ES-12, in 1968, and Conrail 8845, Class SW-7, in April 1976. It was retired on April 11, 1991, and sold to Providence & Worcester as 1201 in 1991. It was retired and sold to MSA Scrap in 2002.

8853, Class SW-7, was built in February 1950, #9453, FN E1136-18, as NYC 8853, Class DES-16b. It was reclassified as ES-12 in 1966 and became PC 8853, Class ES-12, in 1968. It became Conrail 8853, Class SW-7, in April 1976 and was retired on May 22, 1986. It was sold to Central Indiana & Western as 88.

8862, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #12023, FN 4061-2, as Erie RR 430, Class SE-10. It became Erie Lackawanna 430, Class SE-12, in 1960 and Conrail 8862, Class SW7, in April 1976. It was scrapped in March 1987 at Hollidaysburg, PA.

8865, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #12025, FN 4069-2, ex Erie RR 433, Class SE-12. It became EL 433, Class SE-12, in 1960 and Conrail 8865, Class SW7, in April 1976. It was retired on April 11, 1991, and scrapped at Hollidaysburg, PA.

8875, Class SW-7, was built in January 1950, #11185, FN 6076-1, as Lehigh Valley 220, Class DS-7.  It was reclassified Class ES-12 in 1962 and became Conrail 8875, Class SW-7, in April 1976.  It was scrapped at Hollidaysburg, PA. on March 1987.

8904, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #13012, FN 6174-1, as Peoria & Eastern 8904, Class DES-14g.  It was reclassified Class ES-12 in 1966 and became Conrail 8904, Class SW-7, in April 1976.  It was sold as Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority 1 in December 1982 and renumbered 53.

8905, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #13013, FN 6174-2, as P&E 8905, Class DES-14g.  It was reclassified Class ES-12 in 1966 and became Conrail 8905, Class SW-7, in April 1976.  It was retired in 1989 and sold as Blue Mountain & Reading RR 1200 on March 3, 1989.  It was sent to Baltimore & Ohio Museum.

8906, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #13014, FN 6174-3, as P&E 8906, Class DES-14g.  It was reclassified Class ES-12 in 1966 and became Conrail 8906, Class SW-7, in April 1976.  It was scrapped in September 1986.

8907, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #13015, FN 6174-4, as P&E 8907, Class DES-14g.  It was reclassified Class ES-12 in 1966 and became Conrail 8907, Class SW-7, in April 1976.

8909, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #13017, FN 6174-5, as P&E 8909, Class DES-14g.  It was reclassified Class ES-12 in 1966 and became Conrail 8909, Class SW-7, in April 1976.  It was retired.

8910, Class SW-7, was built in November 1950, #13018, FN 6174-6, as P&E 8910, Class DES-14g.  It was reclassified Class ES-12 in 1966 and became Conrail 8910, Class SW-7, in April 1976.  It was retired.

9090, Class ES-12, was built in June 1950, #10437, FN 4031-7,  as Pennsylvania RR 9369, Class ES-12.  It was renumbered 9090 in 1966 and became PC 9090, Class ES-12, in 1968.  It became Conrail 9090, Class SW-7, in April 1976 and sold as Knox & Kane RR 9090 in 1984.  It was sold as Texas North Western Ry 88 and later renumbered 107.
