8845, Class DES-16b, was built in January 1950, #8136, as Indiana Harbor Belt 8845, Class DES-16b. It was reclassified as Class ES-12 in 1966 and became NYC 8845, Class ES-12, in 1967. It then became Penn Central 8845, Class ES-12, in 1968, and Consolidated Railroad Corp 8845, Class SW-7, in April 1976. It was retired on April 11, 1991, and sold to Providence & Worcester as 1201 in 1991. It was retired and sold to MSA Scrap in 2002.

8853, Class DES-16b, was built in February 1950, #9453. It was reclassified as ES-12 in 1966 and became PC 8853, Class ES-12, in 1968. It became Conrail 8853, Class SW-7, in April 1976 and was retired on May 22, 1986. It was sold to Central Indiana & Western as 88.
