Fort Smith Trolley Museum
Cooperativa de Transportes Urbanos y Sub Urbanos de Veracrus 6 was built by Brill in 1908 as Compania de Luz Fuerza y Traccion de Verzcrux 6. It went to the Texas Transportation Museum at San Antonio in 1964. I have heard that it was mounted on a truck chassis. What a shame. It is here shown on the Texas Transportation Co. line at the Pearl brewery. It was later sent in pieces to the FSTM for restoration in 1995.
Augusta RR 6, 8 Ton STD Model DLL2, was built by Plymouth in February 1940 #4030, as U S Army Quartermaster Corps 821. It later went to Newport Air Field at Newport, AR. It then went to the Augusta RR as 6. It was later purchased by Tommy Tagert who donated it to the FSTM in 1988.
Augusta RR 7, 34 Ton, was built by Vulcan in 1942 as Maumelle Ordnance Works 1. It later became U S Army 8223 before going to the Augusta RR as 7. It was also owned by Tommy Tagert and donated to the museum in 1988.
Cooperativa de Transportes Urbanos y Sub Urbanos de Veracrus 9 was built by Brill in 1908 as Compania de Luz Fuerza y Traccion de Veracruz 9. It went to Trolleyville in Ohio in 1961 and sent to Lake Shore Electric Museum in 2006. It was sold to FSTM in 2009.
Fort Smith Light & Traction Co. 10 was built by American Car Co in 1902, #433. The body was acquired in 1993.
Hot Springs Street Ry 50 was built St Louis Car Co in 1904, #474A. It was retired in 1936 and the body was acquired in 1991. It has been restored.
FSLT 205 was built by Cincinnati Car Co in December 1919, #2430. It was retired in 1933 and the body was acquired by FSLM in 1979. It was mounted on a trailer.
FSLT 221 was built by American Car Co in 1926, #1425. It was retired in 1933 and the body was acquired by FSTM in June 1979
FSLT 224 was built by American Car Co in 1926, #1425. It was retired in 1933 and the body was acquired by FSTM in June 1979, It was restored into service using a truck under Kansas City Public Service 1545. It was completed in 1990.
Capital Transportation Co 305 was built by American Car Co. in 1926, order #1424, as Arkansas Power & Light Co 305. It was retired in 1935 and the body was acquired by Fort Smith Trolley Museum in 2009. It is planned to be restored.
CTC 310 was built by American Car Co. in 1926, order #1424, as AP&L 310. It was retired in 1935 and the body was acquired by FSTM in 2009.
United States Air Force 1246, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in January 1953, #31870. It was assigned at Moody Field and donated to FSTM.
Kansas City Railways 1545 was built by American Car Co in December 1919, #1226. It was sold to Milwaukee Rapid Transit & Speedrail in December 1949 and given as Ohio Railway Museum 1545 in 1952. After it was heavily vandalized and damaged by arsonists it was sold to FSLM in December 1982. The truck was used for restoration of Ft Smith 224 and the body was stored.
St Louis-San Francisco 4003 was built by Alco-Schenectady in March 1919, #60946. It was donated to City of Fort Smith, AR, in September 1954 and placed at FSTM.
2163, railcar mover, was built by Whiting. It has no other information.
