General Motors F Units

1401, FP9A, was built in July 1958, #A1401, FN C242-A9, as Canadian National 6541, Class GPA-173  It became Via Rail Canada 6541, Class DPA-17e, on March 31, 1978, and sold as Nebkota Rail 54 in 1998.  It was sold as CP 1401 in 1998.

1403, FP7A, Class DPA-15a, was built in May 1953, #A523, FN C165-A4, as 4102, Class DFA-15g. It was rebuilt and renumbered 1403 on April 29, 1954. It went to Via Rail Canada in September 1978 as 1403. It was later returned to CPR and sold to Iron Metal Industries for scrap.

1404. FP7A, Class DPA-15a, was built in May 1953, #A524, FN C165-A5, as 4103, Class DFA-15g. It was rebuilt and renumbered 1404 on April 1, 1954. It went to Via Rail Canada in September 1978 as 1404. It was upgraded to FP7Au and repainted as VIA 6553 in July 1980. In 1995 it was sold to Wisconsin Central and became Algoma Central 1756. It was donated to West Coast Ry Association and restored as CP 4103.

1405, FP9A, Class DPA-17a, was built in February 1954, #A589, FN C175-A1. It went to Via Rail Canada in September 1978 as 1405. It was later retired.

1411/1867, FP9A, Class DPA-17a, was built in April 1954, #A595, FN C175-A7, as 1411. It was renumbered 1867 in January 1967 and renumbered back to 1411 later. In September 1978 it went to Via Rail Canada as 1411. It was scrapped after retirement.

1414, FP9A, Class DPA-17a, was built in April 1954, #A598, FN C175-A10. In September 1978 it went to Via as 1414. It was returned to CP and sold to Iron Metal Industries and scrapped.

1432, FP7A, Class DPA-15d, was built in October 1951, #A245, FN C116A-4, as 4041, Class DFA-15d. It was rebuilt and renumbered 1432 on January 9, 1955. It was renumbered back to 4041 on January 11, 1966, and back to 1432 on February 12, 1969. It went to Via as 1432 in September 1978. It was returned to CP and sold to Iron Metal Industries and scrapped.

1900, F9B, Class GPB-17a, was built by General Motors in January 1955, #A629, FN C182-13, as CNR 6612, Class GPB-17a.  It became Via 6612, Class GPB-17a, on March 31, 1978, and later sold as Nebkota 66 on January 17, 1995.  It was sold as CPR 1900 ion September 16, 1997.

4030, FP7A, Class DFA-15c, was built in 1950 #A102. It was retired in December 1982 and scrapped.

4031, FP7A, Class DFA-15c, was built in 1950, #A103. It was rebuilt September 24, 1969, and was retired in December 1982 and scrapped.

4034, FP7A, Class DFA-15c, was built in 1950, #A106. It was retired in December 1982 and scrapped.

4035, FP7A, Class DFA-15c, was built in 1950, #A107. It was retired in December 1982 and scrapped.

4037, FP7A, Class DFA-15c, was built in 1950, #A109. It was rebuilt November 10, 1967, and retired December 1982 and scrapped.

4039, FP7A, Class DFA-15d, was built in 1950, #A243. In April 1955 it was rebuilt as 1434, Class DPA-15d. In 1964 it was renumbered back to 4039, Class DFA-15d. It was rebuilt on April 11, 1968. It was wrecked and retired in April 1971 and scrapped at Ogden shops.

4066, FP7A, Class DFA-15f, was built in 1952 #A367. On November 23, 1954, it was rebuilt as 1422, Class DPA-15c. On September 24, 1965, it was again rebuilt back to 4066, Class DFA-15f. In September 1978 it went to Via and was renumbered 1422 on February 6, 1970. It was renumbered 6566 on May 22, 1980, and was destroyed at Hinton, AB, February 8, 1986.

4068, FP7A, Class DFA-15f, was built in 1952, #A369. On November 16, 1954, it was rebuilt to 1424, Class DPA-15c. On September 30, 1965, it was again rebuilt back to 4068, Class DFA-15f. In September 1978 it went to Via as 1424. It was then retired and went to the City of Medicine Hat, Alberta, for display.

4071, FP7A, Class DFA-15f, was built in 1952, #A372. On November 5, 1954, it was rebuilt as 1427, Class DPA-15c. On February 10, 1966, it was again rebuilt back to 4071, Class DFA-15f. In December 1982 it became Montreal Urban Community Transportation Commission 1301.

4072, FP7A, Class DFA-2f, was built in 1952, #A373. On December 18, 1954, it was rebuilt as 1428, Class DPA-15c. On January 11, 1966, it was again rebuilt back to 4072, Class DFA-15f. In December 1982, it became MUCTC 1302.

4073, FP7A, Class DFA-2f, was built in 1952, #A374. On December 4, 1954, it was rebuilt as 1429, Class DPA-15c. On October 1, 1965, it was again rebuilt back to 4073, Class DFA-15f. In December 1982, it became MUCTC 1303.

4074, FP7A, Class DFA-2f, was built in 1952, #A375. On January 3, 1955, it was rebuilt as 1430, Class DPA-15c. On December 29, 1965, it was again rebuilt back to 4074, Class DFA-15f. In December 1982, it became MUCTC 1304.

4462, F7B, Class DFB-15e, was built in February 1953, #A498, FN C159-4.  It was rebuilt as hump booster 6801, Class HB-15, in April 1983 and rebuilt as 1019, slug, in 1995.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in 1999 and sold to Norfolk Southern as SOU 1019 in December 2012.
