6325, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-1, FN 5803-1.  It was renumbered 1976 in April 1975 and renumbered 1876 in August 1975.  It was renumbered 6325 in March 1980 and became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6397, Class SD40-2, on May 14, 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1916, Class SD40-2R, on August 5, 2009.

6327, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-3, FN 5803-3.  It became BNSF 6399, Class SD40-2, on July 23, 1998, and rebuilt as 1918, Class SD40-2R, on September 9, 2009.

6328, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-4, FN 5803-4.  It became BNSF 6329, Class SD40-2, on March 6, 1998, and rebuilt as 1910, Class SD40-2R, on August 21, 2009.

6329, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-5, FN 5803-5.  It became BNSF 6330, Class SD40-2, on January 30, 1998, and rebuilt as 1911, Class SD40-2R, on April 18, 2009.

6331, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-7, FN 5803-7.  It became BNSF 6331, Class SD40-2, on August 11, 2001, and rebuilt as 1912, Class SD40-2R, on September 1, 2009.

6332, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-8, FN 5803-8.  It became BNSF 6332, Class SD40-2, on April 10, 2001, and rebuilt as 1913, Class SD40-2R, on August 20, 2009.

6333, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-9, FN 5803-9.  It became BNSF 6333, Class SD40-2, on September 5, 2001, and rebuilt as 1914, Class SD40-2R, on August 21, 2009.

6334, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-10, FN 5803-10.  It became BNSF 6334, Class SD40-2, on March 2, 2002, and rebuilt as 1915, Class SD40-2R, on August 25, 2009.

6349, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1973, #72639-10, FN 72639-10.  It was renumbered 6809 and became BNSF 6809, Class SD40-2, in April 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1682, Class SD40-2R, on June 3, 2011.

6350, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1972, #5812-3, FN 5812-3, as C&S 902. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6350, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 6350, Class SD40-2, and it became BNSF 6376, Class SD40-2, in July 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1957, Class SD40-2R, in 2009.July 30, 1998. 

6352, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1972, #5812-5, FN 5812-5, as C&S 904. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6352, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 6352, Class SD40-2, and it became BNSF 6386, Class SD40-2, in June 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1959, Class SD40-2R, on April 24, 2009.

6354, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1972, #5812-7, FN 5812-7, as C&S 906.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 6354, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 6354, Class SD40-2, and it became BNSF 6388, Class SD40-2, in November 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1961, Class SD40-2R, in 2009.

6355 , Class SD40-2, was built in March 1972, #5812-8, FN 5812-8, as C&S 907. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6355, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 6355, Class SD40-2. It became BNSF 6369, Class SD40-2, in May 1998.

6357, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1972, #5812-10, FN 5812-10, as C&S 909.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 6357, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 6357, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 6391, Class SD40-2, in May 1999.

6361, Class SD40-2, was built in May 1972, #5812-14, FN 5812-14, as C&S 913.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 6361, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 6361, Class SD40-2, and later became BNSF 6395, Class SD40-2, in July 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1968, Class SD40-2R.

6362, Class SD40-2, was built in May 1972, #5812-15, FN 5812-15, as C&S 914.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 6362, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 it became BN 6362, Class SD40-2, and later became BNSF 6396, Class SD40-2, in October 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1969, Class SD40-2R.

6363, Class SD40-2, was built in May 1972, #5812-16, FN 5812-16, as C&S 915. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6363, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 6363, Class SD40-2, and it later became BNSF 6363, Class SD40-2.

6368, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1974, #73666-3, FN 73666-3, as C&S 920.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 6368, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 became BN 6368, Class SD40-2, and later became BNSF 6368, Class SD40-2, in January 2002.

6370, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1974, #73666-5, FN 73666-5, as C&S 922.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 6370, Class SD40-2.  In January 1982 became BN 6370, Class SD40-2, and later became BNSF 6370, Class SD40-2, in July 2002.  It was rebuilt as 1973, Class SD40-2R, in 2009.

6377, Class SD40-2, was built in April 1974, #74600-2, FN 74600-2.  It was wrecked on October 31, 1987, and rebuilt as Montana Rail Link 250 in July 1988.

6379, Class SD40-2, was built in April 1974, #74600-4, FN 74600-4.  It became BNSF 6370, Class SD40-2, on February 28, 2002, and retired on June 30, 2009.  It was sold to Great Lakes Rail Car Repair Service Inc as GTLX 6379 and rebuilt as Ferrocarril del Pacifico SA 3301.

6380, Class SD40-2, was built in April 1974, #74600-5, FN 74600-5.  It became BNSF 6380, Class SD40-2, in May 2001 and rebuilt as 1828, Class SD40-2R, in 2009.

6382, Class SD40-2, was built in April 1974, #74600-7, FN 74600-7.  It became BNSF 6382, Class SD40-2, in December 2001 and rebuilt as 1830, Class SD40-2R.

6700, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1974, #74660-1, FN 74660-1.  It became BNSF 6700, Class SD40-2, on March 25, 1999, and rebuilt as 1833, Class SD40-2R, on October 24, 2010.

6705, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1974, #74660-6, FN 74660-6.  It became BNSF 6705, Class SD40-2, on March 12, 1998, and rebuilt as 1836, Class SD40-2R, on May 20, 2011.

6706, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1974, #74660-7, FN 74660-7.  It became BNSF 6707, Class SD40-2, on August 10, 2002, and rebuilt as 1839, Class SD40-2R, on March 16, 2011.

6708, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-1, FN 756072-1.  It was sold to Illinois Central as 6100 in March 1991.

6709, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-2, FN 756072-2.  It was sold to IC as 6101 in March 1991.

6713, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-6, FN 756072-6.  It was sold to IC as 6105 in March 1991.

6717, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-10, FN 756072-10.  It was sold to IC as 6108 in March 1991.

6720, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-13, FN 756072-13. It was sold to IC as 6111 in March 1991.

6723, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-16, FN 756072-16. It was sold to IC as 6114 in March 1991.

6725, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-18, FN 756072-18.  It was sold to IC as 6116 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6252, SD40-3, on July 26, 1999.

6727, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1976, #756072-20, FN 756072-20.  It was sold to IC as 6118 in March 1991.

6728, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1976, #756072-21, FN 756072-21.  It was sold to IC as 6119 in March 1991.

6734, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1976, #756072-26, FN 756072-26.  It was sold to IC as 6124 in March 1991.

6754, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766010-2, FN 766010-2.  It was sold to IC as 6145 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6257, SD40-3, on June 23, 1999.  It was wrecked at Two Harbors, MN, on June 30, 2010, and scrapped on the site.

6755, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766010-3, FN 766010-3. It was sold to IC as 6146 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6204, SD40-3, on August 28, 1998.

6256, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766010-5, FN 766010-5, as BN 6757, Class SD40-2.  It was sold to IC as 6148 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6256, SD40-3, on December 9, 1999.

6759, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766010-7, FN 766010-7.  It was sold to IC as 6150 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6263, SD40-3, on January 4, 2000.

6761, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766010-9, FN 766010-9. It was sold to IC as 6151 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6201, SD40-3, on July 10, 1998.

6763, Class SD40-2 was built in November 1976, #766010-11, FN 766010-11.  It was sold to IC as 6153 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6260, SD40-3, on September 21, 1999.

6769, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1976, #766010-17, FN 766010-17.  It was sold to IC as 6157 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6255, SD40-3, on February 22, 2000.

6771, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1976, #766010-19, FN 766010-19.  It was sold to IC as 6159 in March 1991 and rebuilt as 6250, SD40-3, on November 28, 1998.

6779, Class SD40-2, was built in May 1977, #766024-7, FN 766024-5.  It became BNSF 6779, Class SD40-2, on November 11, 2001, and retired on June 30, 2009.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment as LTEX 6779 and sold as Wheeling & Lake Erie 6387 in November 2013.

6784, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #766071-4, FN 766071-4.  It became BNSF 6784, Class SD40-2, in April 2001 and retired on June 30, 2009.  It was sold to Progress Rail Services as PRLX 6784.  It was sold to Ferrovia Centro Atlantico.

6794, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776053-8, FN 776053-8.  It became BNSF 6794, Class SD40-2, on May 21, 1999, and retired in November 2008.  It was sold to Helm Leasing Co as HLCX 6794 and resold as Norfolk Southernas 3510, Class SD40-2, on December 27, 2013.

6835, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1973, #73601-12, FN 73601-12.  It became BNSF 6835, Class SD40-2, on December 5, 2001.

6840, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776109-1, FN 776109-1, as St Louis-San Francisco 950.  It became BN 6840, Class SD40-2, in December 1980, and became BNSF 6840, Class SD40-2, on June 30, 2001.  It was retired on February 27, 2009.

6841, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776109-2, FN 776109-2, as SL-SF 951.  It became BN 6841, Class SD40-2, in December 1980, and became BNSF 6841, Class SD40-2, in September 2001.

6842, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776109-3, FN 776109-3, as SL-SF 952.  It became BN 6842, Class SD40-2, in December 1980, and became BNSF 6842, Class SD40-2, on July 28, 2001.  It was retired on February 27, 2009.

6843, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776108-5, FN 776108-5, as SL-SF 953.  It became BN 6843, Class SD40-2, in December 1980 and became BNSF 6843, Class SD40-2, on June 5, 2001.  It was retired on February 27, 2009, and sold as HLCX 6843.

6844, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776109-5, FN 776109-5, as SL-SF 954.  It became BN 6844, Class SD40-2, in December 1980 and became BNSF 6844, Class SD40-2, on June 11, 2002.  It was retired on February 26, 2009,and sold as HLCX 6844.  It was sold as NS 3519, Class SD40-2, on December 5, 2013.

6845, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776109-6, FN 776109-6, as SL-SF 955.  It became BN 6845, Class SD40-2, in December 1980 and became BNSF 6845, Class SD40-2, on April 9, 2001.  It was retired on February 27, 2009, and sold as HLCX 6845.

6846, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776109-7. FN 776109-7, as SL-SF 956.  It became BN 6846, Class SD40-2, in December 1980, and became BNSF 6846, Class SD40-2, in June 2002.  It was retired on February 27, 2009, and sold as HLCX 6846.  It was sold for scrap in October 2012.

6847, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776109-8, FN 776109-8, as SL-SF 957.  It became BN 6847, Class SD40-2, in December 1980 and became BNSF 6847, Class SD40-2, on March 10, 1999.  It was retired on February 27, 2009, and sold as HLCX 6847.  It was sold as NS 3520, Class SD40-2, on November 30. 2013.

6850, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1974, #73668-1, FN 73668-1, as C&S 980.  In August 1979 in was renumbered 6850, Class SD40-2.  It January 1982 it became BN 6850, Class SD40-2, and it became BNSF 6850, Class SD40-2, on July 12, 2001.  It was rebuilt as 1977, Class SD40-2R, on September 1, 2010.

6901, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1973, #72682-2, FN 72682-2, as BN 6365.  It was renumbered 6901 in 1973 and wrecked on August 31, 1991.  It was retired on October 10, 1991, and scrapped.

1st 6914, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1972, #5803-13, FN 5803-13, as BN 6337.  It was renumber 6914 in 1973 and wrecked.  It was rebuilt as 7502, Class SD40-2B, and became BNSF 7501, Class SD40-2B, on January 20, 2000.  It was renumbered 7198 on December 23, 2006. and renumbered 301 on June 15, 2009.

2nd 6914, Class SD40-2, was built in April 1973, #72682-4, FN 72682-4, as BN 6367.  It was renumbered 6903 in 1973 and became BNSF 6914, Class SD40-2, in August 1999.  It was rebuilt as 1703, Class SD40-2R, in 2011.

6910, Class SD40-2, was built in April 1973, #72682-11, FN 72682-11, as 6374.  It was renumbered 6910 in 1973 and became BNSF 6910, Class SD40-2, on May 31, 2001.  It was rebuilt as 1701, Class SD40-2R, on September 25, 2011.

6911, Class SD40-2, was built in May 1973, #72682-12, FN 72682-1, as 6375, Class SD40-2.  It was renumbered 6911 in 1973 and became BNSF 6911, Class SD40-2, on May 20, 1998.  It was rebuilt as 1702, Class SD40-2R, on October 3, 2011.

6917, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1973, #73615-1, FN 73615-1.  It became BNSF 6917, Class SD40-2, on January 22, 2002, and rebuilt as 1841, Class SD40-2R, on October 11, 2011.

6918, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1973, #73615-2, FN 73615-2.  It became BNSF 6918, Class SD40-2, on December 29, 1999, and renumbered 1842 on October 3, 2011.

6923, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1973, #73615-7, FN 73615-7.  It became BNSF 6923, Class SD40-2, on June 7, 2001, and renumbered 1845 in 2011. 

6927, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1973, #73615-11, FN 73615-11.  It became BNSF 6927, Class SD40-2, on June 5, 2003, and renumbered 1849 on September 24, 2011. 

6928, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1973, #73615-12, FN 73615-12.  It became BNSF 6928, Class SD40-2, on August 9, 2001, and renumbered 1861 on September 21, 2011.
