(1586), Class SD40, was built in June 1966, #31905, FN 5707-7, as Norfolk & Western 1586. It was assigned as NS 1586, Class SD40, but not relettered and rebuilt in September 2006 as NS 870, Class RP-U4.
(1597), Class SD40, was built in June 1966, #31916, FN 5707-18, as N&W 1597. It was assigned as NS 1597, Class SD40, but not letterered. It was sold to Webb Asset Management as WATCo 4103.
(1600), Class SD40, was built in June 1966, #31919, FN 5707-21, as N&W 1600. It was assigned as NS 1600, Class SD40, but never relettered. It was sold as WATCo 4106 in 2004 and sold to Bro-Tex International Metals in 2012.
(1605), Class SD40, was built in June 1966, #31924, FN 5707-26, as N&W 1605. It was assigned as NS 1605, Class SD40, but not lettered. It was sold to Big Dog Lines as BDLX 1605 in 2004 and sold as New York Susquehanna & Western 3022 in 2004. It was rebuilt to SD40-2 status in 2006.
