Brooklyn Rapid Transit Co.

 

169 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1894 as Nassau Electric Ry 169, city car.  It became BRT 169 in 1899 and  Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit in 1923.  It was rebuilt as Brooklyn &Queens Transit 83, work car, in 1940 and acquired by Connecticut Trolley Museum in 1951.  It is in reconstruction as BRT 169.

197 was built by Pullman in 1888 as Kings County Elevated Ry 167.  It became BRT 324 in 1900 and 197 in 1903.  It became BMT 197 in 1923 and New York City Transit in 1940.  It was acquired by Branford Electric Ry Assn in 1955.

1227 was built by Osgood-Bradley Co in 1903.  It became BMT 1227 in 1923 and became NYCT1227 in 1940.   It was acquired by Branford Electric Ry Assn in 1964.

1273 was built by Jewett Car Co in 1902.  It became BMT 1272 in 1923 and renumbered 1622B in 1939.  It became NYCT 1622B in 1940 and preserved by NYCT 1273 in 1965.  It went to New York Transit Museum in 1979.

1349 was built by Cincinnati Car Co in 1905, #330.  It became BMT 1349 in 1923 and became NYCT 1349 in 1940,  It was acquired by BERA in 1962.

1362 was built by Jewett Car Co in 1905.  It became BMT 1362 in 1923 and became NYCT 1362 in 1940.  It was acquired by BERA in 1962.

1363 was built by Jewett Car Co in 1905.  It became BMT 1363 in 1923 and became NYCT 1363 in 1940.  It was acquired by National Museum of Transportation in 1958.

1404 was built by Jewett Car Co in 1907.  It became BMT 1404 in 1923 and rebuilt as 1603C in 1939.  It became NYCT 1603C in 1940 and preserved by NYTMuseum as 1404 in 1969,

1407 was built by Jewett Car Co in 1907. It became BMT 1407 in 1923 and rebuilt as 1622A in 1939,  It becane NYCT 1622A in 1940 and preserved as NYTM as 1407 in 1969

1417 was built by Jewett Car Co in 1907.  It became BMT 1417 in 1923 and rebuilt as 1612C in 1939.  It became NYCT 1612C in 1940 and rebuilt as 20504, work car, in 1969,  It was renumbered 30504 and restored

1792 was built by Laclede Car Co in 1899, #466, aa a Nassau Electric Ry unknown passenger car.  It became BRT 1792 in 1899 and Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit in 1792 in 1923.  It was rebuilt as Brooklyn &Queens Transit 9730, sand car, and axquired by Branford Electric Railway Association in 1982.  It was restored as BRT 1792.

2204 was built by American Car & Foundry Co in 1914, #7405,.  Ir becam BMT 2204, Class Standard, in 1923 and became NYCT 2204 in 1940.  It went to NYTM in 1976.

2775  was built by Pressed Steel Car Co in 1922.  It became BMT 2775, Class Standard, in 1923 and became NYCT 2775 in 1940.  It was rebuilt in 1959 and retired in 1969.  It was acquired by BERA in 1980 and damaged by flood in 2011.  Much of it has been restored.

9800 was built by Taunton Locomotive Works in 1898 as Nassau Electric Ry 10.  It became BRT 9800 in 1899 and became BMT 9800 in 1923.  It was transferred as Brooklyn & Queens Transit 9800 in 1929.  It became NYCTA 69 in 1953.  It was donated to BERA in 1957 and restored as NER 10.
