Electro-Motive FL9 Diesels

2005, Class EDER-5A, was built in September 1957, #21951, FN 3193-A4.  It became Penn Central 5005, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Consolidated Railroad Corp 5005, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became Metro-North Commuter RR 5005 and rebuilt by Chrome Locomotive in 1985 as 503.  It was renumbered 2002 and became Connecticut Department of Transportation 2002.

2017, Class EDER-5A, was built in October 1957, #21963, FN 3193-A16.  It became PC 5017, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5017, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5017 and rebuilt by Eastern Rail Car as 506.  It was renumbered 2003 and scrapped.

2018, Class EDER-5A, was built in October 1957, #21964, FN 3193-A17.  It became PC 5018, Class EF-18E, in 1969 and Conrail 5018, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC and sold as Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley RR 2028 on January 16, 2003.

2019, Class EDER-5A, was built in October 1957, #21965, FN 3193-A18.  It became PC 5019, Class EF-18E, in 1969 and Conrail 5019, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5019 and rebuilt as 508.  It was renumbered 2029 and sold as Adirondack Scenic RR as ADIX 2029.  It was scrapped in 2010.

2020, Class EDER-5A, was built in October 1957, #21966, FN 3193-A19.  It became PC 5020,Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5020, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5020 and rebuilt as 509.  It was renumbered 2004 and rebuilt by ABB Republic in 1993 as 2044.  It was scrapped by Frontier Industrial in 2005.

2024, Class EDER-5A, was built in October 1957, #21970, FN 3193-A23, as NYNH&H 2024, Class EDER-5.  It became PC 5024, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5024m Ckass FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5024 and rebuilt by General Electric in 1980 as 2006.  It was sold to Frontier Industrial Corp and scrapped.

2025, Class EDER-5A, was built in October 1957, #21971, FN 3193-A24. It became PC 5025, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5025, Class FL-9, in April 1976. It later became Amtrak 241 and later renumbered 490. It was sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap.

2031, Class EDER-5A, was built in September 1960, #21977, FN 3198-A2.  It became PC 5031, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5031, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5031 and rebuilt as 514.  It was renumbered 2007.  It was sold as Adirondack Scenic RR as ADIX 2007.

2039, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #21985, FN 3198-A10.  It became PC 5039, Class EP-18E, in 1966, and Conrail 5039, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5039 and rebuilt as 519.  It was again rebuilt as 2012.

2040, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #21986, FN 3198-A11. It became PC 5040, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5040, Class FL-9, in April 1976. It later became MNC 5040 and was later rebuilt as 520. It was again rebuilt as 2013.

2044, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #21990, FN 3198-A15. In 1969 it became PC 5044, Class EP-18e. In April. 1976, it became Conrail 5044, Class FL-9. It became MNC 5044 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as 523 in 1992.  It was renumbered 2016 on February 3, 1993,  and sold to Connecticut Department of Transportation as 2016.  It was sold to Grapevine Vintage RR 2016 in 2019.

2045, FL9, EDER-5A, was built in October 1960, #21991, FN 3198-A16.  It became PC 5045, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5045, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It later became MNC 5045 and rebuilt as 2017.  It was sold as 636 Leasing LLC as SIXX 2017 and sold as Morristown & Erie RR 2017 for parts.

2046, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #21992, FN 3198-A17. It became PC 5046, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5046, Class FL-9, in April 1976.

2048, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #21994, FN 3198-A19.  It became PC 5048, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5048, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5048 and rebuilt as 2018.  It was sold as ADIX 2018 and scrapped in 2010.

2049, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #21995, FN 3198-A20.  In 1969 it became PC 5049, Class EP-18e.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 5049, Class FL-9.  It was sold to MNC 5049 and renumbered 527.  It was rebuilt as 2019 and became CDOT 2019.  It was acquired by Railroad Museum of New England and restored as CNOT 2019

2052, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #21998, FN 3198-A23.  It became PC 5052, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5052, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 528 and rebuilt as 2031.  It was sold as ADIX 2031 and scrapped in 2010.

2055, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #22001, FN 3198-A26.  It became PC 5055, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5055, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 2022.  It was scrapped.

2056, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #22002, FN 31998-A27.  It became PC 5056, Class EP-18E, in 1969 and Conrail 5056, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5056 and rebuilt as 532 in 1985.  It was renumbered 2032 in 1985 and rebuilt by ABB Republic in 1993 as 2046.  It hit a boulder and bent the frame.  It was scrapped by Frontier Industrial in 2005.

2057, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #22003, FN 3198-28.  It became PC 5057, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5057, Class FL-9, in April 1976.   It became MNC 5057 and renumbered 2023.  It was transferred as CDOT 2023 and donated to Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum in 2003.

2058, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #22004, FN 3198-A29.  It became PC 5058, Class EF-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5058, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5058 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in 1993 as 534.    It was renumbered 2024 and was damaged by fire in 2007.

2059, Class EDER-5A, was built in November 1960, #22005, FN 3198-A30.  It became PC 5059, Class EF-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5059, Class FL-9, in April 1976.   It became MNC 2033 and donated to Railroad Museum of New England on January 23, 2002.  It was stored awaiting restoration.
