General Motors GP9 Diesels

1725, Class GR-17a, was built in February 1955, #A644, FN C184-2.  It was renumbered 4401 in 1956 and retired on December 10, 1991.  It was rebuilt as 7041, Class GS-418b, in January 1992.

1727, Class GS-17a, was built in February 1955, #A646, FN C184-4.  It was renumbered 4403 in 1956 and rebuilt as 7043, Class GS-418d, in 1992.  It was wrecked at Prince George, BC, on August 4, 2007, and retired the next day.

1737, Class GR-17a, was built in March 1955, #A656, FN C184-14.  It was renumbered 4413 in 1956 and rebuilt in 1983 as 4020, Class GR-418b.  It was retired on November 9, 1998, and sold to Cando Contracting in 1999.  It was became Central Manitoba Ry 4000.

1745, Class GR-17a, was built in April 1955, #A664, FN C184-22.  It was renumbered 4421 in 1956 and rebuilt in September 1989 as 4120, Class GR-418c.  It was retired on June 1, 2000, and sold as Athabaska Northern Ry 4006 in June 2001.

1749, Class GR-17a, was built in April 1955, #A668, FN C184-26.  It was renumbered 4425 in 1956 and rebuilt in 1991 as 7036, Class GF-418b.

2006, Class GF-17f, was built in February 1956, #A811, FN C195-7.  It was renumbered 4457 in 1956 and rebuilt in 1984 as 4033, Class GR-418k.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 4033 in 2007  It was sold to Savage Inc as SVGX 8609 in 2008.

2020, Class GR-17f, was built in April 1956, #A825, FN C195-21.  It was renumbered 4471 in 1956 and rebuilt in 1981 as 4002, Class GR-418a.  It retired on November 9, 1998, and sold to Progress Rail in 1999.  It was sold as Heart of Georgia RR 1209 in 2000 and resold as Massachusetts Coastal RR 2008 in 2007.

4480, Class GR-17f, was built in May 1956, #A837, FN C195-30  It was rebuilt in 1985 as 7003, Class GS-418a, and sold to Progress Rail as PRLX 7003 in 2007.

4483, Class GR-17f, was built in June 1956, #A840, FN C195-33.  It was rebuilt in March 1985 as 7004, Class GS-418a, and retired on April 24, 2000.  It was sold as Societe du Port Ferroviaire de Baie-Comeau - Hauterive 7004.

4494, Class GR-17f, was built in July 1956, #A852, FN C195-44,  It was rebuilt in June 1982 as 4013, Class GR-418b.  It was transferred to Cando Contracting in 2004.

4497, Class GR-17g, was built in November 1956, #A1015, FN C214-2.  It was renumbered 4201 in 1957 and rebuilt as 4497 in 1962.  It was rebuilt at Pointe St Charles in 1990 as slug 243, Class GY-00f.

4502, Class GR-17h, was built in November 1956, #A977, FN C213-1.  It was rebuilt in February 1993 as 7078, Class GS-418c.

4519, Class GS-17h, was built in December 1956, #A994, FN C213-18.  It was rebuilt in 1985 as 7006, Class GS-418a.

4521, Class GR-17h, was built in December 1956, #A996, FN C213-20.  It was rebuilt in March 1985 as 7007, Class GS-418a.

4523. Class GR-17h, was built in December 1956, #A998, FN C213-22.  It was rebuilt in 1990 at Pointe St Charles as slug 263. Class GY-00f.

4526, Class GR-17h, was built in December 1956, #A1001, FN C213-25.  It was rebuilt in June 1984 as 4028, Class GR-418c.

4532, Class GR-17h, was built in January 1957, #A1007, FN C213-31.  It was rebuilt in 1992 as 7046, Class GS-418c.

4533, Class GR-17h, was built in January 1957, #A1008, FN C213-32.  It was rebuilt in 1991 as 7032, Class GS-418b.

4537, Class GR-17h, was built in January 1957, #A1012, FN C213-36.  It was rebuilt in October 1992 as 7071, Class GS-418c.

4569, Class GR-17m, was built in November 1957, #A1305, FN C234-10.  It was rebuilt in 1990 at Point St Charles as slug 245, Class GY-00f.

4574, Class GR-17m, was built in November 1957, #A1310, FN C234-15.  It was wrecked at Ridgeway, ON, on August 5, 1971, and rebuilt.  It was rebuilt in 1982 as 4010, Class GR-418a, and sold to National Railway Equipment Co as NREX 4440 in 2007.

4586, Class GR-17m, was built in December 1957, #A1322, FN C234-27.  It was rebuilt in June 1986 as 7218, Class GY-418b.

4594, Class GR-17n, was built in June 1957, #A1246, FN C233-7.  It was renumbered 4212 in 1957 and rebuilt in 1993 by AMF as slug 272, Class GY-00g.

4597, Class GR-17n, was built in June 1957, #A1249, FN C233-10.  It was renumbered 4215 in 1957 and rebuilt in 1986 at Pointe St Charles as slug 217, Class GY-00d.

4599, Class GR-17n, was built in June 1957, #A1251, FN C233-12.  It was renumbered 4217 in 1957 and rebuilt in June 1990 as 7255. Class GY-418e.

4100, Class GR-17p, was built in July 1957, #A1262, FN C235-1.  It was renumbered 4360 in 1984 and rebuilt in May 1990 as 7254, Class GY-418e.

4109, Class GR-17p, was built in August 1957, #A1271, FN C235-10.  It was renumbered 4368 in 1984 and rebuilt in 1987 as 235, Class GY-00e.

4122, Class GR-17p, was built in September 1957, #A1284, FN C235-23.  It was rebuilt in June 1984 as 4106, Class GR-418d, and retired on August 16, 2001.  It was sold to Larry's Truck & Equipment in 2003.

4124, Class GR-17p, was built in October 1957, #A1286, FN C235-25.  It was planned for renumbering as 4379 but was rebuilt in October 1984 as 4109, Class GR-418d.

4125, Class GR-17p. was built in October 1957, #A1287, FN C235-26.  It was renumbered 4380 in 1984 and rebuilt in August 1991 as 7021, Class GS-412b.  It was wrecked on May 6, 1997, and scrapped on August 27, 1997.

4129, Class GR-17p, was built in October 1957, #A1291, FN C235-30.  It was renumbered 4382 in 1984 and rebuilt at Pointe St Charles as slug 236, Class GY-00c.

4235, Class GR-17q, was built  in February 1958, #A1348, FN C239-8.  It was rebuilt in June 1985 as 7202, Class GY-418a.

4240, Class GR-17q, was built in March 1958, #A1353, FN C239-13.  It was rebuilt in May 1988 as 7242, Class GY-418d.

4241, Class GR-17q, was built in March 1958, #A1354, FN C239-14.  It was rebuilt in April 1991 as 4141, Class GR-418f.

4590, Class GR-17r, was built in January 1958, #A1329, FN C238-3.  It was rebuilt in 1992 as 7065, Class GS-418c.

4594, Class GR-17r, was built in January 1958, #A1333, FN C238-7.  It was rebuilt in 1992 as 4011, Class GS-418a.

4601, Class GR-17r, was built in January 1958, #A1340, FN C238-14.  It was rebuilt at Pointe St Charles in 1990 as slug 250, Class GY-00f.

4249, Class GR-17t, was built in April 1958, #A1515, FN C250-5.  It was rebuilt in October 1984 as 4112, Class GR-418d.

4272. Class GR-17u, was built in January 1959, #A1629, CN 257-2.  It was rebuilt in February 1990 as 4128, Class GR-418e, and retired on August 16, 2001.  It was sold as Athabasca Northern Ry 4008 in 2004.

4295, Class GR-17u, was built in March 1959, #A1652, FN C257-25.  It was rebuilt in May 1984 as 4103, Class GR-418d, and retired on June 1, 2000.  It was sold to Cando Rail Service and sent as ANY 4005 in June 2001.  It was sold to Rail Trust Equipment Co as RTEX 4005 in 2008

4297, Class GR-17u, was built in March 1959, #A1654.  It was rebuilt in February 1954 as 4022, Class GR-418c.

4314, Class GR-17u, was built in April 1959, #A1671.  It was rebuilt as 7093, Class GS-418c, in 1992 and retired on August 30, 2007.  It was sold to Progress Rail Services as PRLX 7063 on October 22, 2007, and sold as Port Manatee RR 7063 in August 2011.

4326, Class GR-17u, was built in May 1959, #A1683, FN C257-55. It was rebuilt in October 1984 as 4111, Class GR-418d.

4153, Class GR-17y, was built in September 1959, #A1771, FN C263-7.  It was renumbered 4393 in 1984 and rebuilt in 1993 by AMF as slug 275, Class GY-00g. 

4154, Class GR-17y, was built in September 1953, #A1772, FN C263-8.  It was renumbered 4394 in 1984 and rebuilt as 7030, Class GS-418b, in 1991.  It was sold as Florida Central RR 7030 in 2012.

4155, Class GR-17y, was built in September 1959, #A1773, FN C263-9.  It was renumbered 4395 in 1984 and rebuilt in 1986 by Pointe St Charles as slug 215, Class GY-00d.

4603, Class GR-17za, was built in December 1957, #A1416, FN C226-2, as Northern Alberta Ry 202 "Fairview".  It was transferred as CN 4603, Class GR-12za, in 1981 and rebuilt in 1990 at Pointe St Charles as slug 254, Class GY-00f.

4605, Class GR-17za, was built in December 1957, #A1418, FN C226-4, as NAR 204 "Westlock".  It was transferred as CN 4605, Class GR-17za, in 1981 and rebuilt in March 1991 as 4132, Class GR-418f,
