Electro-Motive SC, SW, SW1 Diesels

570, SC, Class DES-4, was built in July 1936, #607, FN E139-4.  It was sold to Empire Coke Co as 570.

572, SC, Class DES-4, was built in July 1936. #609, FN E139-6.  It was scrapped.

574, SW1, Class DES-5a, was built in January 1939, #853, FN E217-1.  It was renumbered 8400, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became Penn Central 8400, Class ES-6, in 1968 and became Consolidated Railroad Corp 8400, Class SW-1, in April 1976.  It was retired.

575, SW1, Class DES-5a, was built on January 30, 1939, #854, FN E217-2.  It was renumbered 8401, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became PC 8401, Class ES-6, in 1968 and became Conrail 8401, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and scrapped at Hollidaysburg, PA, in June 1987.

577, SW1, Class DES-5a, was built in January 1939, #856, FN E217-4.  It was transferred as Chicago River & Indiana 577, Class DES-5a and was renumbered 8403, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8403, Class ES-6, in 1968.   It became Conrail 8403, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and was later retired.

583, SW1, Class DES-5b, was built in March 1943, #1881, FN E521-4.  It was renumbered 8409, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became PC 8409, Class ES-6, in 1968.  It became Conrail 8409, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and sold for scrap to Midwest Iron & Steel Co.

584, SW1, Class DES-5b, was built in March 1943, #1882, FN E521-5.  It was renumbered 8410, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became PC 8410, Class ES-6, in 1968.  It became Conrail 8410, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and later retired.

586, SW1, Class DES-5c, was built in April 1949, #6392, FN E999-2.  It was renumbered 8412, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became PC 8412, Class ES-6, in 1968.  It became Conrail 8412, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal Co.

594, SW1, Class DES-5c, was built in April 1949, #6400, FN E999-10.  It was transferred as CR&I 594, Class SW-1 and was renumbered 8420, Class ES-6, in 1966,  It became PC 8420, Class ES-6, in 1968,  It became Conrail 8420, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal Co.

599, SW1, Class DES-5c, was built in May 1949, #6405, FN E999-15. It was renumbered 8425, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became PC 8425, Class ES-6, in 1968. It was sold to National Railway Passenger Corp (Amtrak) as 243 in 1976 and was later renumbered 730. It later became Washington Terminal Co 730 and then was sold to Hartwell Ry as 7.

603, SW1, Class DES-5c, was built in May 1949, #6409. It was renumbered 8429, Class ES-6, in 1966, and became PC 8429, Class ES-6, in 1968. It became Conrail 8429, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and was later retired.

604, SW1, Class DES-5c, was built in May 1949, #6410.  It was transferred as CR&I 604, Class DES-5c, and was renumbered 8420, Class ES-6, in 1966,  It became PC 8430, Class ES-6, in 1968.

616, SW1, Class DES-5d, was built in June 1950, #11783.  It was renumbered 8442, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became PC 8442, Class ES-6, in 1968,  It became Conrail  8442, Class SW-1, in April 1976 and sold as Cairo Terminal RR 102.

620, SW1, Class DES-5d, was built in October 1950, #11787.  It was renumbered 8446, Class ES-6, in 1966 and became PC 8446, Class ES-6, in 1968.  It became Conrail 8446, Class SW-1, in April 1976.

658, SW1, Class DES-5b, was built in April 1939, #816, as 608.  It was renumbered 658 and renumbered 8456, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1968.

663, SW1, Class DES-5b, was built in April 1939, #821, as 613.  It was renumbered 663 and renumbered 8461, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8461, Class ES-6, in 1968, and became Conrail 8461, Class SW-1, in April 1976.  It was retired.

669, SW1, Class DES-6c, was built in January 1940, #1012, as 619.  It was renumbered 669 and renumbered 8466, Class ES-6. in 1966.  It became PC 8466, Class ES-6, in 1968, and became Conrail 8466, Class SW-1, in April 1976.  It was retired.

674, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in January 1941, #1256, FN E372-8, as 624.  It was renumbered 674 and renumbered 8472, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8472, Class ES-6, in 1968, and became Conrail 8472, Class SW-1, in April 1976.

675, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in April 1941, #1257, FN E372-9, as 625.  It was renumbered 675 and retired in 1966.

676, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in April 1941, #1258, FN E372-10, as 626.  It was renumbered 676 and retired in 1966.

679, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in May 1941, #1261, FN E372-13, as 629.  It was renumbered 679 and renumbered 8476, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8476, Class ES-6, in 1968.  It became Amtrak 245 in 1976 and renumbered 735.  It was sold as Octoraro RR 735 in September 1985 and sold as Tank Car Co of America 735.  It was sold as Bridgewater Resources Inc 735 in 2004.

683, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in June 1941, #1265, FN E372-17, as 633.  It was renumbered 683 and renumbered 8480, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8480, Class ES-6, in 1968, and Conrail 8480, Class SW-1, in April 1976.  It was sold as Wisconsin Central Ltd 1 "Francis J Wiener".  It was donated to Camp Five Museum.

689, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in September 1941, #1271, as 639, Class DES-6d.  It was renumbered 689 and renumbered 8486, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8486, Class ES-6, and became Conrail 8486, Class SW-1, in April 1976.  It was sold for scrap to Midwest Iron & Metal.

691, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in September 1941, #1273, as 641.  It was renumbered 691 and renumbered 8488, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8488, Class ES-6, in 1968, and became Conrail 8488, Class SW-1, in April 1976.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive.

696, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in July 1941, #1278, as 646.  It was renumbered 696 and renumbered 8493, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8493, Class ES-6, in 1969, and became Conrail 8493, Class SW-1, in April 1976.

697, SW1, Class DES-6d, was built in July 1941, #1279, as 647.  It was renumbered 697 and renumbered 8494, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8494, Class ES-6, in 1969, and became Conrail 8494, Class SW-1, in April 1976.

701, SW1, Class DES-6e, was built in January 1942, #1589, FN E456-4, as 651.  It was renumbered 701 and renumbered 8497, Class ES-6, in 1966.  It became PC 8497, Class ES-6, in 1968 and Amtrak 249 in 1976.  It was renumbered 736 and sold as Ohio Central RR 736 in 2002.

"706", SW1, Class DES-6, was built in December 1941, #1565, as Louisville & Nashville 14, Class S-30.  It was sold to Hyman-Michaels Co and sold as Hercules Powder Co 68 in 1968.  It was sold as Adirondack Scenic RR 68 and lettered as NYC 706.
