Alco Freight Diesels

 

0401, FA1u, Class DER-2a, was built in June 1947, #75276, as New York New Haven & Hartford 0401, Class DER-2a.  It was rebuilt by Alco in November 1959 and became Penn Central 1330, Class AF-16, in 1968.  It was rebuilt by General Electric in 1973 asLong Island RR  618, Class PC6 and acquired by Connecticut Valley RR Association in February 1986.  It became Railroad Museum of New England.
