Aachen, Germany, had an interesting collection of trams including some second-hand equipment and closed down on September 1, 1974.
1014 was built by Duewag in 1956 as Strassenbahn Monchen-Gladbach 28. It was purchased and rebuilt as 1014 in 1967.
1021 was built by Duewag in 1936 as Rheinbahn 107. It was purchased and rebuilt as 1021 in 1963.
1024 was built by Duewag in 1936 as Rheinbahn 115. It was purchased and rebuilt as 1024 in 1963.
1102 was built by Duewag in 1958 and was formerly a Stadtwerke Monchen-Gladbach car.
1103 was built by Duewag in 1958 and was formerly a Monchen-Gladbach car.
1105 was built by Duewag in 1958 and was formerly a Monchen-Gladbach car.
1110 was built by Talbot in 1948 and came from Oberhausen Strassenbahn.

3412, TM36, was built by AEG in 1927. It was retired in 1967 and acquired by Seashore Trolley Museum in 1973.
5131, TZ69, was built by Reichsbahnausbesserunggswerk in 1969. It was renumbered 223 006-4 in 1970 and renumbered 3006 in 1990. It was required in June 1996 by National Tramway Museum, Crich Tramway Museum. It restored as 223 006-4 in 2002 for use for access tram service.
5954, T24, was built by Hannoversche Waggonfabrik AG in 1924. It was sold to Stadtwerke Karlsruhe-Verkehrsebetribe 5954 in 1967 for a garden show and sold to National Capital Trolley Museum in 1969. It was restored as BVG 5954.

74, Type ST4, was built by Gastell in 1929. It was sent to the Hannover Tramwaymuseum in 1977 and returned to the Depot Eberstadt in 2005. It will be restored.
77, Type ST4, was built by Gastell in 1929. It was retired in 1976.

It was used for spare parts for 1176 but then was rebuilt to replace it in 1984. It was renumbered as 177 for party service. It was arranged for Der Tram Club 177 in 1994. Service is suspended since there was damage in 2014.

166, GTw, was built by Westwaggon in 1950. It was rebuilt with the center section in 1960. It was renumbered 1166 in 1967 and retired as a break shack on August 10, 1980. It was scrapped in July 1983.

Strassenbahn Esslingen-Nellingen-Denkendorf
It was opened in 1912 in Esslingen and opened to Nellingen in 1926. It was extended to Neuhausen in 1929. This line was closed on February 28, 1978. The cars were acquired by Tram Museum Stuttgart but the barn was taken for bus service. They had hoped to run the line for heritage service but they lost their power. It continued to be falling until it was closed in 1981. Some were sent to other museums and the rest were scrapped.
10 was built by Maschinfabrik Esslingen in 1942. It was sent to a museum at Schonau in 1995 and scrapped.
20 was built in 1903 as Stuttgarter Strassenbahn 300. It was sold as END 20 in 1933 and planned to return to SSB in 1965. It was cancelled in 1967 due to the condtion.
Flensburg

This meter gauge line was opened on July 6, 1907, and closed on June 2, 1973.
40 was built by Hannoversche Waggonfabrik in 1926. It went to Hannoversches Strassenbahn-Museum and transferred as Sporvejsmuseet Skjoldenaescholm.

In 1888 the line was built as a steam 1000mm gauge streetcar from Ravensburg to Weingarten, 4.2 km. It was electrified in 1910 and extended to Baienfurt (2.4 km) in 1911 On February 23, 1959, the line between Ravensburg and Weingarten was closed and the rest in June/ The car yard was then used for bus storage.
