Electro-Motive F Unit Diesels
555-B, F7B, Class DE4(B-B)235, was built in February 1949, #5868, FN E956-B1. It was renumbered 5552 in 1950 and reclassified as Class DE B-B59 in 1962. It was retired on May 17, 1970 and sold as Alaska RR 1517 in May 1970, It was retired and sold as Mountain Diesel Transportation 1511 in 1986. It was sold as Wyoming-Colorado RR 1511. It was scrapped in November 2008.
564-A, F7A, Class DE4(B-B)226, was built in July 1949, #8356, FN E1157-A11. It was renumbered, Class DE(B-B)226 in 1950 and reclassified as Class DE B-B59 in 1962. It was retired on May 14, 1959, and traded in to Electro-Motive.
564-D, F7A, Class DE4(B-B)226, was built in July 1949, #8358, FN E1157-A13. It was renumbered as 5644, Class DE4(B-B)226, in 1950 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in 1957. It was reclassified Class B-B 60 in 1962 and retired on August 27, 1969. It was sold as American Crystal Sugar Co 64 in January 1970 and sold to Glen Monhart in 1980. It was painted as Chicago Madison & Northern 564 and became Wisconsin & Calumet RR 901 in 1985. It was sold to to Mineral Range Inc as MRAX 901 in 1992. It was sent to the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay and later sold as Escanaba & Lake Superior 901.
5661, F7A, Class DE4(B-B)237, was built in June 1950, #11407, FN 6093-A3. It was reclassified Class DE B-B 59 in 1962 and wrecked at Mill Fork, UT, on December 19, 1963. It was retired on January 16, 1964, and traded in to Electro-Motive.
5711, F7A, Class DE4(B-B)238, was built in June 1952, #16519, FN 3149-A3. It was reclassified Class DE B-B 50 in 1962 and sold as ARR 1520 on May 16, 1970. It was retired in July 1976 and traded in to Electro-Motive.
5754, F7A, Class DE4(B-B)238, was built in June 1952, #16528, FN 3149-A12. It was reclassified Class DE B-B 60 in 1962 and sold as Penn Central 754, Class EF-15a, on February 28, 1970. It was renumbered 1879 in September 1972 and became Consolidated Railroad Corp 1879, Class F-7A, in April 1976. It was retired on May 24, 1978, and traded in to Electro-Motive.
5762, F9B, Class DE4(B-B)235, was built in September 1955, #20531, FN 3184-B3, as 5753. It was renumbered 5562 on November 14, 1955 and was reclassified Class B-B 59 in 1962. It was stored on September 30, 1984, and donated to Colorado Railroad Museum in 1996. It was sent to Golden in January 1998. It was restored by March 1999.
5771, F9A, Class DE4(B-B)238, was built in August 1955, #20527, FN 3184-A1. It was reclassified Class DE B-B 60 in 1962 and reclassified Class EP418AD-1. It was retired on September 6, 1986, and donated to CRM. It was moved to the museum in January 1998.
