Soo Line Railroad

Electro-Motive GP7 Diesels

375 was built in September 1950, #12445, FN 6151-1, as Minneapolis St Paul & Sault Ste Marie 375 .  It became Soo Line 375 in 1962 and I&M Rail Link as 101 in 1997.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in 2002 and scrapped in March 2004.

376 was built in September 1950, #12446, FN 6151-2, as MStPSS&M 376.  It became Soo Line 376 in 1962 and sold as Transglobal Rail Inc 376.

378 was built in March 1951, #14008, FN 5079-2, as MStPSS&M 378.  It became Soo Line 378 in 1962 and sold as Ontario Southland Ry 378 in September 1999.

 

"559" was built in November 1951, #15182, FN 5111-11, as Chicago Rock Island & Pacific 1223. It was rebuilt at Silvis on February 19, 1976, as 4505. It went to Precision National in April 1980 and was sold to Chicago & North Western in February 1981. It entered service on April 26, 1981, as 4159, and was retired December 12, 1988. It was sold to Fox River Valley RR as 4159 on January 12, 1989. It later became Wisconsin Central Ltd 4159.  It was acquired by Minnesota Transportation Museum as MNTX 559 in 1998.  It was lettered as SOO 559 in 2008.
