Electro-Motive SW1 Diesels

 

354, Class SE-6, was built on April 19, 1940, #1053, FN E304-3, as Delaware Lackawanna & Western 432.  It became EL 354, Class SE-6, in 1960 and sold to Virginia Blue Ridge Ry as 12 in October 1964. After the VBR was abandoned it was sold to Union Tank Car Co in April 1985.

 

358, Class SE-6, was built in March 1940, #1057, FN E304-7, as DL&W 436.  It became EL 358, Class SE-6, in 1960 and sold to Matt Whisler in 1967.  It was sold to Birmingham Rail & Loco in 1969 and sold to Peabody Coal Co as 407 "Tinker Bell".  It is preserved as a static display at the Museum of the Coal Industry in Lynnville, Indiana.

360, SW1, Class SE-6, was built in July 1948, #6148, FN E977-1, as Erie RR 360, Class SD-6.  It became E-L 360, Class SE-6, in 1960 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal Co.  It was sold as Allis-Chalmers Corp 5.
