Miscellaneous Passenger Cars

15 was built by Pullman Car Co in 1897, as Milwaukee Racine & Kenosha Ry 15 "Wisconsin".  It became TMER&L 15 in 1899 and sold as Sheboygan Light Power & Co 23 on March 27, 1900.  It was rebuilt in 1920 as a freight car.

98 was built by Niles in 1907 as Milwaukee Northern Ry 19.  It was rebuilt as 98 in 1928 and became TMER&L 98 in 1928.  It was scrapped in 1935.

525 was built by Brill in 1893. Fenders were installed in 1899 and it was renumbered 1526 in 1906. It served in Racine and was stored in 1915.

701 was built by Brill in 1888 as Milwaukee & Whitefish Bay Ry  1, a steam dummy trailer.  It became TM 701, as smoking car, in 1894 and used on interurban lines.  In 1908 it was used as a sleeper on way department and renumbered 1 in 1912,  It was retired in 1925,

Marguerite was built by TMER&L in 1896 as a party car and had an unusual Robinson radial truck which was less than successful. Because of the amount of electricity needed for the lighting, the rates for charter were $10 for three hours, but went to $15 if the car was illuminated. It is not known when the service was no longer offered, and what happened to the Queen of the TM.

Psuedo Marguerite was built just in time for the 3rd Street change from trolley to trolley bus.  It did a pretty good job but you can see the tractor engine and the driver in the middle of the car.  It seems to have disappeared after the one use.

Milwaukee was built by St Louis Car Co in 1904.  It was burned in 1907 and rebuilt as 1000 in 1912.  It was rebuilt as MN 99 in 1923 and became TM 99 in 1928.

Realize it, my brethren; -every one who breathes, high and low, educated and ignorant, young and old, man and woman, has a mission, has a work. We are not sent into this world for nothing; we are not born at random; . . . God sees every one of us; He creates every soul, He lodges it in the body, one by one, for a purpose. He needs, He deigns to need, every one of us. He has an end for each of us; we are all equal in His sight, and we are placed in our different ranks and stations, not to get what we can out of them for ourselves, but to labor in them for Him. As Christ has His work, we too have ours; as He rejoiced to do His work, we must rejoice in ours also. -

--- Blessed John Henry Newman
