Electric Locomotives

10102A, Class EP-1, was built in March 1916 by Alco #55135A, and General Electric, #5027A.  It was rebuilt and renumbered 10232A, Class EF-2, in January 12, 1920.  It was renumbered E69A, on March 22, 1939, and E39C on September 15, 1941.  It was again renumbered E69A on November 30, 1943, and E39C on March 7, 1946.

 

10103A, Class EP-1, was built in April 1916 by Alco, #55136A, and General Electric, #5105A. It was rebuilt and renumbered 10233A, Class EF-2, on February 29, 1920. It was renumbered E70A on March 16, 1939, and E48A on October 13, 1942. It was again renumbered E70A on November 10, 1943, and E69A on September 18, 1950. It was rebuilt and renumbered E22A, Class EP-4A, on February 12, 1953. It was scrapped in April 1972.

10104B, Class EP-1, was built in May 1916 by Alco, #55137B, and General Electric, #5106B. It was rebuilt and renumbered 10234B, Class EF-2, on July 27, 1920. It was rebuilt and renumbered 10500A, Class EF-5, on September 13, 1932. It was renumbered E25A on March 8, 1939.

10107A, Class EP-1, was built in Septeber 1916 by Alco, #55500A, and General Electric, #5376A. It was rebuilt and renumbered 10237A, Class EF-2, on April 15, 1920. It was again rebuilt and renumbered 10510B, Class EF-5, on July 16, 1936. It was renumbered E33B on March 20, 1939, and retired in 1968.

10206A, Class EF-1, was built in December 1915 by Alco, 55084A, and General Electric, 5031A. It was renumbered E54A on February 25, 1939, and scrapped on May 22, 1964.

10208A, Class EF-1, was built in January 1916, by Alco, #55086A, and General Electric, #5033A. It was renumbered 10505A on November 6, 1939. It was again renumbered E28A on March 17, 1939. It was again renumbered E23A on August 14, 1953, and again renumbered E22D in March 1961. It was scrapped in July 1972.

10208B, Class EF-1, was built in January 1916, by Alco #55086B, and General Electric, #5033B. It was renumbered 10510C in July 16, 1936, and back to 10208B in September 1, 1936. It was again changed to 10505B in November 6, 1936, and renumbered E28B in March 17, 1939. It then became E23B was changed in August 14, 1953, and again finally changed March 1963 E22C,

10209A, Class EF-1, was built in February 1916 by Alco, #55087A, and General Electric, #5108A. It was renumbered E56A on March 6, 1939. It was again renumbered E36C on March 31, 1953. Then it was renumbered E23C on May 20, 1955. It was finally renumbered E39D in September 1960.

10211B, Class EF-1, was built in February 1916 by General Electric, #5110B. It was renumbered E57B on March 1, 1939.

10217A, Class EF-2, was built in August 1916 by General Electric, #5362A. It was renumbered E63A on February 28, 1939, and again renumbered E47A on October 8, 1942.

10228A, Class EF-2, was built in July 1916 by Alco, #55497A, and General Electric, #5373A,  It was rebuilt and renumbered 10504A, Class EF-5, on September 25, 1933.  It was renumbered E27A on March 20, 1939, and scrapped in May 1964,

10229A, Class EF-2, was built in September 1916 by Alco, #55498A, and General Electric, #5374A. It was rebuilt and renumbered 10501A, Class EF-5, on September 10, 1932. It was again renumbered E34A on March 16, 1939.

10233A, Class EF-2, was built in November 1916 by General Electric, #5368B. It was rebuilt and renumbered 10508B, Class EF-5, in March 1935. It was again renumbered E31B on February 25, 1939, and retired on February 5, 1965.

10250, Class EP-2, was built by General Electric in August 1918, #6978. It was renumbered E1 on March 2, 1939, and scrapped in September 1961.

10251, Class EP-2, was built by General Electric in November 1918, #6979. It was renumbered E2 on March 6, 1939, and was retired in January 1961.  It was donated to the National Museum of Transportation

10252, Class EP-2, was built by General Electric in November 1918, #6980. It was renumbered E3 on March 3, 1939, and scrapped in January 1961.

10253, Class EP-2, was built by General Electric in September 1919, #6981. It was renumbered E4 on March 2, 1939, and scrapped in January 1961.

10254, Class EP-2, was built built by General Electric in September 1919, #6982. It was renumbered E5 on March 2, 1939, and scrapped in January 1961.

10300, Class EP-3, was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in December 1918, #51000. It was not delivered until December 1919. It was renumbered E10 on February 21, 1939, and scrapped on May 9, 1955.

10301, Class EP-3, was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in June 1919, #51844. It was renumbered E11 on March 16, 1939, and scrapped on April 2, 1957.

10302, Class EP-3, was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in June 1919, #51845. It was renumbered E12 on March 13, 1939, and scrapped in May 14, 1954..

10303, Class EP-3, was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in August 1919, #52111. It was wrecked in 1933 and was assigned E19 on March 30, 1939, but was apparently never renumbered before it was scrapped on September 15, 1942.

10305, Class EP-3, was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in August 1919, #52215. It was renumbered E14 on March 9, 1939, and scrapped on September 25, 1952.

10307, Class EP-3, was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in September 1919, #52302.  It was renumbered E16 on March 14, 1959, and scrapped on May 9, 1955.

10309, Class EP-3, was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in September 1919, #52362. It was renumbered E18 on March 14, 1939, and scrapped on April 2, 1957.

E20, Class EP-4, was built by General Electric in October 1948, #29922, as Sovjetzkije Zeleznyje Dorogi A1601. The order was cancelled with the beginning of the Cold War and the locomotive became General Electric Corp 29922. It was purchased by The Milwaukee and rebuilt in September 1950 as E20. In 1956 it was again rebuilt as Class EF-4 and it was retired on July 8, 1974.

E21, Class EP-4, was built by General Electric in October 1948, #29921, as SZD A1600. It became GE 29921. It was purchased and rebuilt as E21 on December 21, 1950. It was rebuilt in April 1958 as Class EP-4, and was retired on July 8, 1974.

E70, Class EF-4, was built by General Electric in December 1948, #29927, as SZD A1605, It became GE 750. It was purchased and rebuilt as E70 in August 1950. It was retired on July 8, 1974,

E71, Class EF-4, was built by General Electric in January 1949, #29928, as SZD A1607. It became GE 29928. It was purchase and rebuilt as CMStP&P E71 in August 1950. It was retired on July 8, 1974,

E72, Class EF-4, was built by General Electric in January 1949, #29929, as SZD A1607. It became GE 29929. It was purchase and rebuilt as CMStP&P E72, Class EF-4. in August 1950. It was retired on July 8, 1974,

E73, Class EF-4, was built by General Electric in December 1948, #29925, as SZD A1603. It became GE 29925. It was purchased and rebuilt as E73 in August 1950. It was retired on July 8, 1974,

E79, Class EF-4, was built by General Electric in September 1948, #29920, as SZD A1599.  It became GE 29920.  It was purchased and rebuilt as E79 on November 18, 1950.  It was retired on July 8, 1974.

10002, Class ES-1,  was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse on December 17, 1917, #47450, as Chicago Milwaukee & St Paul 10002   In 1919 it was sold as Monongahela-West Penn 2000. This road became the City Lines of West Virginia in 1943 when the power operation and the traction operation were separated. Abandonment came in 1947, and the 2000 was sold to the Kansas City Kaw Valley RR where it became their 504 in April, 1948. When the Kaw Valley was abandoned in 1953, the locomotive came to San Antonio and became  Texas Transportation Co 1.  It is stored at San Antonio.

10050, Class ES-2, was built by General Electric in July 1916, #5478. It was renumbered E80 on March 10, 1939.

10051, Class ES-2, was built by General Electric in August 1916, #5479. It was renumbered E81 on March 16, 1939.

10052, Class ES-2, was built by General Electric in March 1919, #6983. It was renumbered E82 on March 9, 1939, and retired on June 22, 1974.

 

10053, Class ES-2, was built by General Electric in April 1919, #6984. It was renumbered E83 on March 1, 1939, and scrapped on January 18, 1952.

X3800 was the shop engine at Deer Lodge.
