Cass Scenic RR
2 was built by Lima in July July 1928 #3320, for stock. It was sold thru Hofius Steel & Equipment as an oil burner for Mayo Lumber Co 4. It was sold as Lake Logging Co 5 on February 24, 1943, and sold as Western Forest Industries 5 on December14, 1946, It was sold as Railway Appliance Research 114 in January 1964. It was leased at Vancouver Wharves Ltd until 1970. It was retired in May 1970 and sold to State of West Virginia as Csrr2 on October 2, 1970. It was converted to coal in May 1983.
4 was built by Lima in December 1922, #3189, as Strouds Creek & Muddlety Ry 5. It was sold as Mower Lumber Co 4 on June 5, 1943, and became Midwest Raleigh Inc in September 1960. It was sold to Midwest Steel Co in May 1961 and sold as CSRR 4 on June 7, 1962.
8 was built by Climax on December 1919, #1651, as Moore Keppel & Co 6. It was sold to Dry Gulch Junction Inc in April 1967 and transferred as Whistles in the Woods Inc. It was sold as CSRR 8 in November 1970,
10 was built by Lima in January 1916, #2804, as W. M. Carney Mill Co. 5. It was returned and rebuilt in 1917, It later became W. M. Ritter Lumber Co. 36 before coming to the Brimstone RR where it kept the same number. It was acquired by the Tennessee Valley RR Museum in 1967. It was leased as Bear Creek Scenic RR between 1973 and 1987, It was later transferred to the Cass Scenic RR where it will be rebuilt as Cass 10.
612 was built by Baldwin in August, 1943, #69858, as U S Army 2630. It was renumbered 612 in 1954 and sent to the CSRR in June 1972 but never used. It was sold in 2010 to Steam Services of America and sent to Southeastern Railroad Museum. It was sold to Age of Steam Roundhouse in 2015 where it has been cosmetic restoration as 2630.
