Golden Gate Railroad Museum
95, VO1000u, was built by Baldwin in January 1944, #70126, as SL-SF 215 . It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in 1957 and sold to Chrome Locomotive Co. It was sold as U. S. Navt 65-00095 in May 1984 and sold to GCRM 95. It was sold to North Coast Railroad Authority and lettered as TCRY 007.
1487, H12-44, was built by Fairbanks Morse in January 1953, #12L671, as United States Army 1847. It was sold to GCRM in March 1995 and restored as Southern Pacific 1487.
2467 was built by Baldwin in January 1921, #54472, as Southern Pacific 2467, Class P-8. It was rebuilt at Ogden on December 5, 1925, and rebuilt at Bayshore on April 5, 1939. It was retired on December 26, 1956, and donated to Oakland, CA on July 25, 1960. It was given to GCRM in 2001 and went to the California State Railroad Museum in 2008.
2472, Class P-8, was built by Baldwin in January 1921, #54477, as SP 2472, Class P=8. It was rebuilt at Ogden on November 30, 1929, and rebuilt at Bayshore on November 26, 1940. It was retired on March 27, 1957, and donated to San Mateo County on April 10, 1959. It was given to GGRM in 1976 and restored to operation in 1991.
3194, Class EP418R-1, was built in May 1954, #19483, FN 5335-2, as Texas & New Orleans 281, Class DF-602. It was transferred as SP 5895 in 1960 and renumbered 3001, Class EP418-1, in 1966. It was rebuilt as 3194, Class EP418R-1, on April 21, 1977. It was retired in 1997 and sold to GCRM.
6378, F7A, Class DF-8, was built in July 1952, #16559, FN 3107-A1. In 1966 it was reclassified EF415A-8. It was traded in to GE and became WA&G 2100 in Jun 1969. Almost immediately it was sold to L&NW as 46. It joined 45 for the trip to California as Golden Gate Ry Museum 6378 and given it's original number for shipment in April 2000.
6380, F7A, Class DF-8,was built in July 1952, #16561, FN 3107-A3,. In 1966 it was reclassified EF415A-8. It was traded in to GE, who sold it to the WA&G as 2000 on November 19, 1968. It was sold to L&NW as 45 in June 1969. After years of storage, it was sold as GCM 6380 and given it's original number for shipment in April 2000.
