Electro-Motive SW7 Diesel Switchers

 

12, SW7, Class SW-7, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1950, #10870, FN 6050-2.  It became Burlington Northern 144, Class SW-7, in 1970, and retired in October 1985.  It was sold as PLM Railcar Mainentance 144 in September 1987 and became Trancisco Rail Services 144.  The property was sold to Trinity Railcar in 1998 and 144 was apparently retired.  It was scrapped in April 2006.

13, SW7, Class SW-7, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1950, #10871, FN 6050-3. It became BN 145, Class SW-7, in 1970 and retired in October 1985. It was scrapped by Southwest Railroad Parts in October 1985.

168, SW7, Class SW-7, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1950, #9574, FN 4005-6.  It became BN 140, Class SW-7, in 1970 and retired in October 1985.  It was sold as Great Western Ry 140 in January 1986 and resold as Liberty Rail Services Inc 140 in 1988.
