6006, Class GP40-2, was built in August 1972, #7365-7, FN 7365-7, as Baltimore & Ohio 4106, Class GP40-2. It was renumbered 6006 and became CSX 6006, Class GP40-2, in 1987.
6008, Class GP40-2 was built in August 1973, #7365-9, FN 7365-9, as B&O 4108, Class GP40-2. It was renumbered 6008 and became CSX 6008, Class GP40-2, in 1987. It was rebuilt as Class GP38-2.
