1600, Class 3GS21C, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1966, #31947, FN 7907-12, as Chesapeake & Ohio 7468, Class SD-40.  It was renumbered 7568 in December 1973 and renumbered 8419 in 1984.  It became CSX 8419, Class SD-40, in 1985 and rebuilt by VMV as Class SD40-2.  It was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment Co as 1600, Class 3GS21C, in January 2011.
