3017, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1974, #74609-21, FN 74609-21, as Chicago & North Western 6836.  It became UP 3017 on October 5, 1998, and rebuilt as 1572, Class SD40N, on August 31, 2010.

3018, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1974, #74609-22, FN 74609-22, as C&NW 6837.  It became UP 3018 on April 10, 1997, and retired on February 17, 2009.

3022, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1974, #74609-26, FN 74609-26, as C&NW 6841.  It became UP 3022, Class SD40-2, on December 11, 1997.  It was rebuilt as 9841, Class SD40N, on April 26, 2017, and renumbered as UPY 323 on June 26, 2017.

3028, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1974, #74609-32, FN 74609-32, as C&NW 6847. It became UP 3028, Class SD40-2, on February 4, 2003, and retired on December 5, 2008.

3029, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1974, #74609-34, FN 74609-34, as C&NW 6849.  It became UP 3029, Class SD40-2, on April 26, 1998.

3033, Class SD40-2, was built in September 1974, #74639-3, FN 74639-5, as C&NW 6868.  It became UP 3033, Class SD40-2, on March 11, 1998.  It was retired and reactivated on May 24, 2014.

3035, Class SD40-2, was built in September 1974, #74639-5, FN 74639-5, as C&NW 6870.  It became UP 3035, Class SD40-2, on October 4, 1996.

3041, Class SD40-2, was built in September 1974, #74639-11, FN 74639-11, as C&NW 6876.  It became UP 3041, Class SD40-2, on April 16, 1997, and rebuilt as 1553, Class SD40N, on June 3, 2010.

3042, Class SD40-2, was built in September 1974, #74639-12, FN 74639-12, as C&NW 6877.  It became UP 3042, Class SD40-2, on March 21, 2003, and retired on December 5, 2008.  It was reactivated on May 23, 2014.

3045, Class SD40-2, was built in September 1974, #74639-16, FN 74639-16, as C&NW 6881.  It became UP 3045 on December 9, 1997, and retired on April 16, 2009.

3050, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1974, #74609-33, FN 74609-33, as C&NW 6848.  It became UP 3050 on February 20, 1997, and retired on February 17, 2009.  It was rebuilt as 1564, Class SD40N, July 13, 2010.

(3055), Class SD40-2, was built in January 1975, #74661-10, FN 74661-10, as C&NW 6900.  It was assigned as UP 3055 but retired on December 26, 2001.  It was sold as Larry's Truck Equipment Co 6900 in 2004.

3057, Class SD40-2, was built in January 1975, #74661-2, FN 74661-2, as C&NW 6892.  It became UP 3057, Class SD40-2, on December 9, 1997, and rebuilt as 1590, Class SD40N, on December 16, 2010.

3059, Class SD40-2, was built in January 1975, #74661-4, FN 74661-4, as C&NW 6894.  It became UP 3059, Class SD40-2, on May 21, 1998, and rebuilt as 1585, Class SD40N, on December 1, 2010.

3061, Class SD40-2, was built in January 1975, #74661-6, FN 74661-6, as C&NW 6896.  It became UP 3061, Class SD40-2, on May 8, 1999, and renumbered 1970 on November 11, 2013.

3062, Class SD40-2, was built in January 1975, #74661-7, FN 74661-7, as C&NW 6897. It became UP 3062, Class SD40-2, on June 15, 1998, and rebuilt as 1556, Class SD40N, on June 14, 2010.

3069, Class SD40-2, was built in January 1975, #74661-14, FN 74661-14, as C&NW 6904.  It became UP 3069, Class SD40-2, on May 23, 1996, and retired on April 25, 2008.

3077, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1975, #74661-24, FN 74661-24, as C&NW 6914.  It became UP 3077, Class SD40-2, on January 10, 2003, and retired on December 5, 2008.  It was rebuilt as 1586, Class SD40N, on November 2, 2010.

3079, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1975, #74661-26, FN 74661-26, as C&NW 6916.  It became UP 3079, Class SD40-2, on July 12, 1996, and retired on February 17, 2009.  It was reactivated as May 9, 2014.

3083, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1975, #74661-30, FN 74661-30, as C&NW 6920.  It became UP 3083, Class SD40-2, on June 20, 1996, and retired on April 28, 2003.  It was sold as Evansville & Western RR 6002.

3084, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1975, #74661-31, FN 74661-31, as C&NW 6921.  It became UP 3084, Class SD40-2, on March 24, 1997, and retired on February 17, 2009.  It was rebuilt as 1594, Class SD40N, on December 29, 2010.

3086, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1975, #74661-33, FN 74661-33, as C&NW 6923.  It became UP 3086, Class SD40-2, on September 21, 1998. It was sold to Respondek RR and painted as Illinois Terminal RR 2301 in 2010.  It was relettered Tri-City Port for Port Harbor RR 3086 in 2011.

3087, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1975, #74661-34, FN 74661-34, as C&NW 6924.  It became UP 3087, Class SD40-2, on January 16, 1997, and retired on December 5, 2008.  It was rebuilt as 1595, Class SD40N, on September 27, 2010.

(3088), Class SD40-2, was built in February 1975, #74661-35, FN 74661-35, as C&NW 6925.  It was assigned as UP 3088, Class SD40-2, but retired on December 23, 2001.

3089, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-1, FN 766032-1, as C&NW 6926.  It became UP 3089, Class SD40-2, on September 16, 1997, and retired on February 17, 2009.

3090, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-2, FN 766032-2, as C&NW 6927.  It became UP 3090, Class SD40-2, on May 13, 1998, and retired on April 6, 1998.  It was rebuilt as RP20CD by RailPower Technologies at Juniata in November 2011 as UPY 887.

3091, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-3, FN 766032-3, as C&NW 6928.  It became UP 3091 on March 6, 1997, and retired on December 5, 2008.  It was rebuilt as 1566, Class SD40N, on June 22, 2010.

3092, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-4, FN 766032-4, as C&NW 6929.  It became UP 3092, Class SD40-2, on December 13, 1995, and retired on October 31, 2000.  It was sold to CIT Equipment Finance as CEFX 3092.  It was sold to RailAmerica in November 2011.

(3093), Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-5, FN 766032-5, as C&NW 6930. It was assigned UP 3093 but was wrecked on October 21, 2002, at Des Plaines, IL.  It was retired on December 19, 2002

(3094), Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-6, FN 766032-6, as C&NW 6931.  It was assigned UP 3094, Class SD40-2, but retired on February 27, 2001.  It was sold as CEFX 6931 and sold to Texas International Terminals as TXXX 6931 in 2012.

3096, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-8, FN 766032-8, as C&NW 6933.  It became UP 3096, Class SD40-2, on December 28, 2000, and renumbered 1899 on November 1, 2013.

(3097), Class SD40-2, was built in November 1976, #766032-9, FN 766032-9, as C&NW 6934.  It was assigned UP 3097, Class SD40-2, but retired on December 28, 2000.  It was sold as Florida East Coast 714 in 2002.
