8000-9999

 

8712, SW900m, was built by Baldwin in January 1944, #70134, as Reading 76, VO1000, Class OE-10.  It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in December 1963, #28418, FN 7665-2. as Reading  1512, Class SWE-4, and became Consolidated Rsilroad Corp 8712, Class SW-900, in April 1976.  It was sold as WAMX 8712.

9003, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1958, #24016, FN 5559-3, as Northern Pacific 347. It became Burlington Northern 1757, Class GP-9, in 1970 and retired in July 1983.  It was sold to Chrome Locomotive Co in September 1983.  It was sold as Weyerhauser Corp 311 and sold as WAMX 9003.

9004, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1957, #23600, FN 5546-22, as New York Central 6067, Class DRS-9h.  It was renumbered 7467, Class ERS-17, in 1966 and became Penn Central 7467, Class ERS-17, in 1968.  It was sold as Meridian & Bigbee RR 104 and sold to Watco as WATX 104.  It was assigned as WAMX 7004 but became WAMX 9004.

9101, E9A, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1956, #21605. FN 2075-A5, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 202A, Class 24E-P6. It was renumbered 32A in 1959 and transferred to Amtrak as 434 in 1973.  It was sold to Alaska RR as 2402 in 1981 and sold as Northern Railcar Leasing 10C in 1987 and leased as Scenic Dining Rail 10C in 1988.  It was sold to Wisconsin & Southern as 10C in 1991 and renumbered 101.  It became WAMX 9101.
