8036,  SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1979, #786216-6, FN 786216-6 as Burlington Northern 8036, Class SD40-2.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 8036, Class SD40-2, in June 2001 and retired in 2009.  It was sold as HLCX 8036 and sold to Genesee & Wyoming in 2014.

8050, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1979, #786216-19, FN 786216-19, as BN 8050, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 8050, Class SD40-2, on August 30, 2001, and retired on February 27, 2009.  It was sold as HLCX 8050 and sold to Watco  as WAMX 4199.

8056, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1979, #786216-26, FN 786216-26, as BN 8056, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 8056, Class SD40-2, on March 10, 2001, and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 8056 and sold as Norfolk Southern 3536, Class SD40-2, on January 17, 2014.

8065, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1979, #786216-35, FN 786216-35, as BN  8065, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 8065, Class SD40-2, on April 14, 2005, and retired on February 27, 2009.  It was sold as HLCX 8065 and scrapped in December 2012.

8071, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1979, #786216-41, FN 786216-41, as BN 8071, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 8071, Class SD40-2, in April 2004 and retired in November 2008.  It was sold as HLCX 8071 and sold as NS 3537, Class SD40-2, on November 22, 2013.

8086,  SD40-2, was built by General Motors in August 1979, #A3765, FN C422-11, as BN 8086, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8086 and sold as NS 3556, Class SD40-2, on January 17, 2014.

8139, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-50, FN 786256-50, as BN 8139, Class SD40-1.  It was sold as HLCX 8139 in January 2001.  It was sold as NS 3559, Class SD40-2, on November 22, 2013.

8144, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-55, FN 786256-55, as BN 8144, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8144 in 2001 and sold as New Brunswick Southern Ry 8144 in May 2014.

8147,  SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-58, FN 786256-58, as BN 8147, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8147 in in January 2001 and sold as Dallas Garland & NorthEastern 3416 in 2015.

8149, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-60, FN 786256-60, as BN 8149, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8149 in January 2001.  It was sold as NS 3562, Class SD40-2, on January 17, 2014.

8152, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-63, FN 786256-63, as BN 8152, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8152 in January 2001.  It was sold as NS 3564, Class SD40-2, on January 5, 2014.

8153, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-64, FN 786256-64, as BN 8153, Class SD40-2. It was assigned as BNSF 8153, Class SD40-2, but sold to Helm as 8153 on January 24, 2001.  It was sold as NS 3565, Class SD40-2, on January 27, 2014.

8154, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive  in July 1980, #786256-65, FN 786256-65, as BN 8154, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8154 in January 2001 and sold as NS 3566, Class SD40-2, on February 3, 2014.

8179 SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-90, FN 786256-90, as BN 8179, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8179 in January 2001.  It was sold as NS 3578, Class SD40-2, on November 15, 2013.

8180, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1980, #786256-91, FN 786256-91, as BN 8180, Class SD40-2.  It was sold as HLCX 8180 in January 2001.  It was sold as NS 3579, Class SD40-2, on December 27, 2013.

8507, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1978, #786174-9, FN 786174-9. as Southern Pacific 8507, Class EF630-8. SD40T-2.  It was wrecked at Durham, TX, on April 30, 1985, and retired on December 29, 1986.  It was sold as HLCX 8507 on April 28, 1989 and rebuilt by VMV Enterprises as SD40-2 in January 1990.  It was sold as Southwestern Portland Cement Co 415 on July 30, 1994.
