693, SD39, was built in May 1969, #34888, FN 7168-6, as Illinois Terminal RR 2306. It became Norfolk & Western 2966 in November 1981 and was retired in August 1984. It was sold to Boston & Maine as 693 in August 1985 and was transferred to MeC as 693.
