Electro-Motive SD7 Diesels
1827, Class SD-7, was built in November 1953, #18683, FN 5303-1, as 761, Class RSE-6c, SD7. It was renumbered 7401, Class FS6E-2, in 1957 and renumbered 1827, Class SD-7, in June 1964. It was assigned CSX Transportation 9701, Class SD-7, but retired on July 28, 1987. I was sold to Steel Processing Corp on March 30, 1988, and resold to Montana Rail Link in November 1988. It was rebuilt by Livingston Rebuild Center as Burlington Northern 6247, Class SD-9, on December 26, 1989, and became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6147, Class SD-9, on May 11, 1998. It was renumbered 1726 in 2007.
1829, Class SD-7, was built in November 1953, #18685, FN 5303-3, as 763, Class RSE-6c. It was renumbered 7403, Class FS6E-2, in 1957 and renumbered 1829, Class SD-7, in June 1964. It was assigned CSX 9703, Class SD-7, but retired on July 29, 1987. It was sold to Steel Processing Corp on March 30, 1988, and resold to Montana Rail Line in November 1988. It was rebuilt by Livingston Rebuild Center as BN 6245, Class SD-9, on February 28, 1990, and became BNSF 6144, Class SD-9, on March 27, 2000. It was renumbered 1725 in 2007 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co in January 2013.
