General Electric U25B Diesels

2500, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in March 1965, #34986, as New York Central 2500, Class DRS-15a.  It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2500, Class GF-25, in 1968.  It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 2500, Class U-25-B, in April 1976.   It was retired April 21, 1983, and traded in to General Electric May 1983.   It was donated to Lake Shore Ry Historical Society.

2503, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in March 1964, #34989, as NYC 2503, Class DRS-15a. It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2503, Class GF-25, in 1968. It then became Conrail 2503, Class U25B, in April 1976.

2514, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in March 1964, #35000, as NYC 2514, Class DRS-15a.  It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2514, Class GF-25, in 1966.  It then became Conrail 2514, Class U25B, in April 1976.

2518, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in April 1964, #35004, as NYC 2518, Class DRS-15a.  It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2518, Class GF-25, in 1966.  It then became Conrail 2518, Class U25B, in April 1976 and traded in to General Electric.

2526, U25B, Class GF-25,  was built in September 1964, #35012, as NYC 2526, Class DRS-15a. It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2526, Class GF-25, in 1968. It then became Conrail 2526, Class U25B, in April 1976. It was sold as scrap to Pielet Bros in 1985.

2528, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in September 1964, #35014, as NYC 2528, Class DRS-15a.  It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2528, Class GF-25, in 1968.  It then became Conrail 2528, Class U25B, in April 1976.  It was traded in to General Electric in 1983.

2531, U25B, Class GF-25,  was built in November 1964, #35424, as NYC 2531, Class DRS-15b. It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became Penn Central 2531, Class GF-25, in 1968. It then became Conrail 2531, Class U25B, in April 1976. It was traded in to General Electric on B36-7s.

2539, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in December 1964, #35432, as NYC 2539, Class DRS-15b. It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2539, Class GF-25, in 1968. It then became Conrail 2539, Class U25B, in April 1976. It was sold as scrap to Pielet Bros.

2553, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in January 1965, #35446, as NYC 2553, Class DRS-15b.  It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2553, Class GF-25, in 1968.  It then became Conrail 2553, Class U25B, in April 1976.  It was sold as scrap to Pielet Bros.

2560, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in September 1965, #35700, as NYC 2560, Class DRS-18b.  It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2560, Class GF-25, in 1968. It became Conrail 2560, Class U25B, in April 1976.  It was sold as scrap to Pielet Bros.

2569, U25B, Class GF-25,  was built in August 1965, #35699, as NYC 2569, Class DRS-15b. It was reclassified Class GF-25 in 1966 and became PC 2569, Class GF-25, in 1968. It became Conrail 2569, Class U25B, in April 1976. It was traded in to General Electric on B36-7s.

2604, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in August 1962, #34532, as Pennsylvania RR 2504, Class GF-25.  It was renumbered 2604 in 1966 and became PC 2604, Class GF-25, in 1968.  It became Conrail 2604, Class U-25-B, in April 1976 and sold as Prairie Central RR 2604 in July 1981.

2605, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in August 1962, #34533, as PRR 2505, Class GF-25.  It was renumbered 2605 in 1966 and became PC 2605, Class GF-25, in 1968.  It became Conrail 2605, Class U-25-B, in April 1976 and sold as PACY 2605 in July 1981.

2615, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in September 1962, #34547, as PRR 2516, Class GF-25.  It was renumbered 2615 in 1966 and became PC 2615, Class GF-25, in 1968.  It became Conrail 2615, Class U-25-B, in April 1976 and sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers.

2628, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in October 1962, #34560, as PRR 2528, Class GF-25.  It was renumbered 2628 in 1955 and became PC 2628, Class GP-25, in 1968.  It became Conrail 2628, Class U-25-B, in April 1976.

2634, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in February 1965, #35530, as PRR 2534, Class GF-25.  It was renumbered 2634 in 1966 and became PC 2634, Class GF-25 in 1968.  It became Conrail 2634, Class U-25-B, in April 1976.

2650, U25B,  Class GF-25, was built in November 1965, #35774, as PRR 2650, Class GF-25.  It became PC 2650, Class GF-25, in 1968 and became Conrail 2650, Class U-25-B, in April 1976.

2676, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in October 1965, #35724, as New York New Haven & Hartford 2516, Class DERS-7a.  It became PC 2676, Class GF-25, in 1969 and became Conrail 2676, Class U-25-B, in April 1976.  It was retired.

2685, U25B, Class GF-25, was built in November 1965, #35733, as NYNH&H 2525, Class DERS-7a.  It became PC 2685, Class GF-25, in 1969 and became Conrail 2685, Class U-25-B, in April 1976.  It was sold to Railroad Museum of New England and restored as NH 2525.
