Baldwin Diesel Switchers

 

103, VO1000, was built by Baldwin in November 1944, #70302, as Minneapolis & St Louis D145.  It was renumbered 103 in March 1956 and became C&NW 103 in 1960.  It was retired in 1963 and sold to Missouri Valley Steel Co.  It was scrapped.

147, VO660, was built by Baldwin in June 1945, #71573, as Chicago St Paul Minneapolis & Omaha 59. It was later C&NW 59 in 1957 and later rebuilt by Electro-Motive in April 1959 as a 900 HP unit. It was renumbered 147 in October 1968. It was retired in October 1976 and sold to Precision National Corp.

1019, DS-4-4-1000, was built in March 1949, #74084. It was retired on November 13, 1960, and traded in to Electro-Motive.

1020, DS-4-4-1000, was built in March 1949, #74085.  It was retired on June 3, 1960, and sold in July 1974.

1021, DS-4-4-1000, was built in March 1949, #74086. It was retired on October 13, 1960, and traded in to Electro-Motive.

1037, VO1000, was built in March 1945, #71746. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in February 1957 and retired on October 17, 1980. It was sold to Precision National in February 1981.

1039, VO1000, was built in April 1945, #72009. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in June 1958 and retired on March 22, 1978. It was scrapped at Oelwein in May 1980.

1040, VO1000, was built in May 1945, #72010. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in December 1956 and retired October 8, 1980. Disposition is unknown.

1041, VO1000, was built in March 1945, #72015. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in April 1960 and retired February 4, 1981. Disposition is unknown.

1043, VO1000, was built in July 1945, #72022. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in December 1956 and retired February 17, 1981. It was sold to Precision National in February 1981.

1044, VO1000, was built in December 1945, #71561. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in June 1958 and retired on February 17, 1981. Disposition is unknown.

1045, VO1000, was built in December 1945, #71562. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in July 1958 and retired on November 2, 1978. Disposition is unknown.

1047, VO1000, was built in December 1945, #71564. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in September 1958 and retired on October 3, 1976. Disposition is unknown.

1107, S12, was built in September 1952, #75195.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive in February 1962.

1127, S12, was built in August 1954, #76026.  It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in 1964 and retired on February 17, 1981. It was sold to Precision National in February 1981.

1239, VO660, was built in May 1945, #71516.  It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in December 1958 and retired on February 17, 1981. It was sold to Precision National in February 1981.

1240, VO660, was built in June 1945, #71519. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in January 1959 and retired on February 17, 1981. It was sold to Precision National in February 1981.

1241, VO660, was built in June 1945, #71520. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in December 1958 and retired on February 17, 1981. It was sold to Precision National in February 1981.

1244, VO660, was built in May 1945, #71570. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in November 1958 and retired on June 12, 1978. Disposition is unknown.

1246, VO660, was built in August 1945, #71575. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in January 1959 and retired on February 17, 1981. It was sold to Precision National Corp.

1261, DS-4-4-660, was built in February 1949, #73903. It was re-engined by Electro-Motive in June 1960 and retired on January 7, 1977. Disposition is unknown.
