Colorado Trolley Lines

Arkansas Valley Railway Light & Power Co.

Southern Colorado Power Co.

70 through 75 were built by Anerican Car Co in March 1912, #925.  70 through 72 were scrapped in 1937 and 73 through 75 were rebuilt to work cars in 1937.  They were scrapped in 1948.

80 through 83 were built by Cincinnati Car Co in January 1921, #2425.  They were scrapped in 1948.

84 through 89 were built by American Car Co in November 1923, #1356.  They were scrapped in 1948.

90 was built by American Car Co in June 1924, #1383.  It was scrapped in 1948.

111 through 134 were built by Cincinnati Car Co in March 1919, #2405, as Colorado Springs & Interurban Ry 111 through 134.  It was sold as SCPCo 111 through 134 in 1932 and scrapped in 1948.  One was wrecked in 1943.


Colorado Springs & Manitou Street Ry.

Colorado Springs & Interurban Ry.

The Colorado Springs & Manitou Street Ry began horse car service in 1887. In 1890 the line was purchased by the Colorado Springs Rapid Transit Ry and electrified with service to Manitou Springs. In 1901 the company was purchased by Winfield Scott Stratton and renamed Colorado Springs & Interurban Ry. It was rebuilt and new equipment was added. Several extensions were added over the years. Competition from private autos caused some line abandonments and final closure came on April 30, 1932.

60 was built in the company shops in 1906.

70 was built by Brill in 1901.

71 was built by Brill in 1901.

100 through 110 were built by American Car Co in April 1918, #1120.  It was scrapped in 1932.

111 through 134 were built by Cincinnati Car Co in March 1919, #2405.  They were sold to Southern Colorado Power Co as 111 through 134 in 1932.  One was wrecked in 1943 and the others were scrapped in 1948.


Denver & Intermountain Ry.

Denver & South Platte Ry.

1 and 2 were built by American Car Co in June 1919, #1198.  They were sold to York Utilities Co as 80 and 81 in 1926 and retired in 1947.  They were sold to Seashore Trolley Museum and 80 was restored as D&SP 1.  82 (2) has been set up as a billboard on the highway.

1977 was built by Gomaco Trolley Co in 1986.


Pueblo Railway Foundation

Steel Town Trolley

1245 was built by Atelliers Metallurgiques de Nivelles in 1938, as Societe des Transports Intercommunaux de Burxelles 1611.  It was sold as GCR 1245 in 1984.  It was sold to the Pueblo Railway Foundation and plan to operate it there.


Regional Transit District

Royal Gorge Incline RR

This line was built by Otis Elevator in 1931.  It is 1500 feet 45 degree angle.  It was badly damaged by fire at the top level on June 11, 2013, and it is expected to be re-opened.
