There were several suburban lines which operated out of Seoul. One which was still in operation during my time there ran from East Gate to the Han River at Songsudong. There was no rail connection at the East Gate terminal even though it was within a block of the East Gate Car House. Near the middle of the line was Wangsipni. Here was the small shops and a connection with the Wangsipni city car line. I got the opportunity to operate a car over part of the line when Bob Townley and I visited them.

3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 were trailers used behind the locomotives for "mass transit" to the beach.

500 was one of the original interurbans.

502, 503, 505, and 506 were formerly city cars.

510 was similar to the 1934 center door city cars.

511 wase similar to the 1934 center door city cars.

512 and 513 were similar to 500.

602 was used for pulling trailers.

611 was a larger version.

700 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1924, #1327, as a Los Angeles Ry, Class H-2.  It was rebuilt in 1930 as Type H-3 and 1 manned in 1947.  It was sold to Korea in 1957.
