Electro-Motive SD24 Diesels

 

901, Class 900, was built in May 1959, #25168, FN 5597-2.  It was renumbered 4501, Class 4500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in July 1974 as 4601, Class 4600.  It was retired in December 1986 and sold as  Springfield Terminal RR 616 in January 1987.  It was retired on August 29, 1997.

902, Class 900, was built in May 1959, #25169, FN 5597-3. It was renumbered 4502, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in June 1977 as 4602, Class 4600. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

903, Class 900, was built in May 1959, #25170. FN 5597-4.  It was renumbered 4503, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in November 1973 as 4603, Class 4600.  It was retired in December 1986 and sold as ST 4603 in January 1987.  It was renumbered 617 and retired on August 29, 1990.  It was scrapped in April 1995.

904, Class 900, was built in May 1959, #25171, FN 5597-5.  It was renumbered 4504, Class 4500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in October 1973 as 4604, Class 4600.  It was retired in December 1966 and sold as ST 4604 in January 1987.  It was renumbered 618 and retired on August 29, 1960.  It was scrapped at Waterville ME in July 1997.

907, Class 900, was built in May 1959, #25174, FN 5597-8.  It was renumbered 4507, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in June 1973 as 4607k, Class 4600.  It was retired in January 1987 and sold to ST as 621 in February 1987.  It was scrapped in March 2011.

908, Class 900, was built in May 1959, #25175, FN 5597-9. It was renumbered 4508, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in June 1972 as 4608, Class 4600. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

915, Class 900, was built in June 1959, #25182, FN 5597-16.  It was renumbered 4515, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in April 1977 as 4615, Class 4600.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

923, Class 900, was built in June 1959, #25190. It was renumbered 4523, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in April 1973 as 4623, Class 4600. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

930, Class 900, was built in June 1959, #25327. It was renumbered 4530, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in June 1972 as 4630, Class 4600. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

932, Class 900, was built in June 1959, #25329.  It was renumbered 4532, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in September 1974 as 4632, Class 4600.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

938, Class 900, was built in June 1959, #25335.  It was renumbered 4538, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in May 1973 as 4638, Class 4600.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

940, Class 900, was built in June 1959, #25337. It was renumbered 4540, Class 4500, in 1970, and rebuilt at San Bernardino in November 1973 as 4640, Class 4600. It was retired in January 1987 and sold to STRR as 627 in February 1987.  It was retired on November 17, 1993, and scrapped at Waterville, ME, in July 1994.

945, Class 900, was built in May 1960, #25855.  It was renumbered 4545, Class 4500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in September 1976 as 4645, Class 4600.  It was retired in December 1986 and sold to STRR and planned as 630 in January 1987.  It was wrecked enroute to New England and ended up for parts.

955, Class 900, was built in May 1960, #25865.  It was renumbered 4555, Class 4500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in October 1973, as 4655, Class 4600.  It was retired in December 1986 and sold as STRR 635 in January 1987.

963, Class 900, was built in June 1960, #25873, FN 5617-19. It was renumbered 4563, Class 4500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in July 1973 as 4663, Class 4600. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in early 1985 and scrapped at Pielet Brothers.

969, Class 900, was built in June 1960, #25679, FN 5617-25.  It was renumbered 4569, Class 4500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in July 1973 as 4669, Class 4600.  It was sold as STRR 641 in January 1987 and later retired.

977, Class 900, was built in June 1960, #25887, FN 5617-33.  It was renumbered 4577, Class 4500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino on July 10, 1973, as 4677, Class 4600.  It was sold as STRR 647 in January 1987 and sold to Industrial Marine Service in July 1994,  It was scrapped at Waterville, ME, in August 1994.
