Electro-Motive NW1/NW2 Diesels

 

701, NW1, was built in March 1938, #780, FN E195-1. It was rebuilt at Silvis in November 1956 and traded in to Electro-Motive in December 1966.

765, NW2, was built in December 1948, #6124. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

768, NW2, was built on December 23, 1948, #6127. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

769, NW2, was built on December 23, 1948, #6128. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

770, NW2, was built in January 1949, #6129. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

772, NW2, was built in January 1949, #6131. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

774, NW2, was built in January 1949, #6133. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

797, NW2, was built in March 1948, #3166, as New York Ontario & Western 113. When that line was abandoned it became CRI&P 797 in March 1959. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

4901, NW2, was built in December 1947, #5252, as Pittsburgh & Lake Erie 8708, Class DES-11L. It was reclassified as ES-10 in 1966 and sold to Precision National Corp. They sold it to the Rock as 4901 in November 1971. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.

4907, NW2, was built in March 1949, #7425, as P&LE 8747, Class DES-13e. It was reclassified as ES-10 in 1966 and sold to Precision National Corp. They sold it to the Rock as 4907 in November 1971. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981. They sold it to  Amaizo Rail Switching Service as 4907 in November 1984. It was returned to Chrome in March 1986.

4909, NW2, was built in March 1949, #7427, as P&LE 8749, Class DES-13e. It was reclassified as ES-10 in 1966 and sold to Precision National Corp. They sold it to the Rock as 4909 in November 1971. It was sold to Chrome Locomotive in February 1981.
