Boeing-Vertol Cars
2400 thru 2599 were built by Boeing-Vertol in 1976 and followed the design of cars built for Bay Area Rapid Transit, Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit, and Washington Area Metropolitan Area Transit. The paint scheme was a modification of the bicentennial model that year. They feature fibre glass ends, and fibre glass and plastic interiors. They were rebuilt in the Skokie shops in the mid 1990s for their mid-life rehab. In the late 1990s, the full width cabs were being rebuilt into half width for one man operation.

Choose Life.
Mom did.
Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you. All things pass. God does not change. Patience achieves everything. Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices.
--St. Teresa of Avila
