Morrison-Knudsen MK1200G Diesels
1200, Class MK1200G, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1957, #22472, FN 5487-5, as Great Northern 692, Class GP-9. It became Burlington Northern 1765, Class GP-9, in 1970 and retired in October 1990. It was sold to MK and rebuilt at Boise in August 1994, #0392-1, as AT&SF 1200, Class 1200. It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 1200, Class MK1200G, on August 12, 1998, and retired in September 2012.
1201, Class 1200, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1956, #22057, FN 5521-6, as Chesapeake & Ohio 6149, Class MRSE-17. It was reclassified Class GP-9 in 1964 and sold to MK. It was rebuilt at Boise in August 1994, #0392-2, as AT&SF 1201, Class 1200. It became BNSF 1201, Class MK1200G, on August 12, 1998, and retired in September 2012.
