Alco RS32 Diesels

2021, Class DL-721, was built in June 1961, #83982, as New York Central 8021, Class DRS-12a.  It was renumbered 2021, Class AF-20, and became Penn Central 2021, Class AF-20, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 2021, Class DF-721.  It was traded in to General Electric, who sold it to Diesel Supply Co.  In October 1979 it was sold to Chicago & North Western and became 4247 on December 31, 1979.  It was retired on July 15, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August.  It was scrapped at St Louis Auto Shredding.

2022,  Class DL-721, was built in June 1961, #83983, as NYC 8031, Class DRS-12a.  It was renumbered 4022, Class AF-20 in 1966, and became PC 2022, Class AF-20, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 2022, Class DL-721.  It was traded in to General Electric, who sold it to Diesel Supply Co.  In October 1979 it was sold to C&NW and became 4243 on November 18, 1979.  It was retired on July 28, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August.  It was scrapped at St Louis Auto Shredding.

2023, Class DL-721, was built in June 1961, #83984, as NYC 8023, Class DRS-12a.  It was renumbered 2023, Class AF-20, and became PC 2023, Class AF-20, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 2023, Class DL-721.  It was traded in to General Electric, who sold it to Diesel Supply Co.  In October 1979 it was sold to C&NW and became 4249 on December 31, 1979.  It was retired on July 15, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August.  It was scrapped at St Louis Auto Shredding.

It then became Conrail 2031, Class DL-721 in April 1976, and later was sold to Maryland & Delaware as 42. It went to Arkansas & Missouri as 42 in February 1986.

2034, Class DL-721, was built in June 1961, #83995, as NYC 8034, Class DRS-12a. It was renumbered 2034, Class AF-20, and became PC 2034, Class AF-20, in 1968. In April 1976 it became Conrail 2034, Class DL-721. It was traded in to General Electric, who sold it to Diesel Supply Co. In October 1979 it was sold to C&NW and became 4246 on December 14, 1979. It was retired on July 18, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August. It was scrapped at St. Louis Auto Shredding.

2038, Class DL-721, was built in June 1962, #84038, as NYC 8038, Class DRS-12b.  It was renumbered 2038, Class AF-20, and became PC 2038, Class AF-20, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 2038, Class DL-721.  It was traded in to Genera Electric, who sold it to Diesel Supply Co.  In October 1970 it was sold to C&NW and became 4241 on November 12, 1979.  It was retired on July 15, 1986, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August. 2041, Class DL-721, was built in June 1962, #84184, as NYC 8041, Class DRS-12b . It was renumbered 2041, Class AF-20, and became PC 2041, Class AF-20, in 1968.
