555, SW1, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1953, #18111, FN 4227-1, as Chicago & North Western 1271. It was retired on April 24, 1978, and sold to Wilson-Cramer. It was sold to Chrome Crankshaft and resold as Amoco 555 at Whiting, IN. It was transferred to Mandan, ND, in 1998 and the refinery was sold as Tesoro Corp. It was sold to the North Dakota Railroad Museum in 2012.
