In 1942, during the Second World War, Dallas ordered 25 double ended PCCs from Pullman. The War Production Board deferred their order in favor of other cities which they felt were more needful of the limited number of available cars. In 1943 the same thing happened. In 1944 they were finally authorized for delivery in 1945, three years after ordering. They finally came and operated for only nine years. But during that time, they had two different paint schemes. Since they were rather new, they found a new home in Boston in two different purchases. Here is a selection of views of these unusual cars.

3322 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as Dallas Railway & Terminal Co 601.  It was sold as MTA 3322 in 1958.

3323 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 605.  It was sold as MTA 3323 in 1958  It was preserved by Branford Electric Railway Museum in 1980 and sold to Middletown & Hummellstown in 1992.

3324 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 616.  It was sold as MTA 3324 in 1958.

3325 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 617.  It was sold as MTA 3325 in 1958.

3326 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 621.  It was sold as MTA 3326 in 1958 and rebuilt as a sand car.  It was sold to Vintage Electric Streetcar Co.

3327 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 622.  It was sold as MTA 3327 in 1958 and rebuilt as a work car in 1985.  It was acquired by Seashore Trolley Museum in 1999.

3332 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 618.  It was sold as MTA 3332 in 1959 and rebuilt as a line car in 1999.  It was acquired by Seashore Trolley Museum in 2008.

3333 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 625.  It was sold as MTA 3333 in 1959 and acquired by Connecticut Trolley Museum in 1978. It was transferred as Lake Shore Electric Ry in 2006.

3334 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 612.  It was sold as MTA 3334 in 1959 and sold to Trolleyville Inc in 1991.  It was transferred as Lake Shore Electric Ry in 200 It was transferred as Lake Shore Electric Ry in 2006.  It was sold to McKinney Avenue Transit Authority and stored at Illinois Railway Museum in 2010.

3335 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945, #W6699, as DR&T 614.  It was sold as MTA 3335 in 1959.
