4 was built by Cooke in 1884, as Denver South Park & Pacific 39. It became Union Pacific 109 and became C&S 4.
8 was built by Cooke in February 1884, #1554. It was originally DSP&P 71 and then became UP 113. In 1899 it became C&S 8. It was rebuilt in June 1901 and in 1917. It was scrapped in May 1934. The photo was taken just after the 1901 rebuilding.
9 was built by Cooke in February 1884, #1555, as DSP&P 72. It was renumbered 114 in 1885 and became Denver Leadville & Gunnison 114 in July 1989. It became C&S 9, Class B-3A, in January 1899. It was painted as Deadwood Central RR 9 "Chief Crazy Horse" in 1948 and leased as Black Hills Central 9 in 1957 but only one side was painted. It was returned by Burlington Northern in December 1986. It was given to Colorado Historical Society and has been restored as C&S 9.
11 was built by Cooke in 1884. It was formerly Union Pacific 116 prior to 1898.
13 was built by Cooke in 1886. It was formerly Union Pacific 8 prior to 1898.
60 was built by Rogers in March 1886, #1595, as Utah & Northern Ry 263. It was consolidated as Oregon Shore Line & Utah Northern 263 in August 1889 and sold as DL&G 263 in September 1890. It was consolidated as C&S 60 in January 1899 and donated to City of Idaho Springs, CO, in 1941.
69 was built by Baldwin in 1890 as Union Pacific 272. It became C&S 69 in 1898.
70 was built by Baldwin in 1890 as Union Pacific 273. It became C&S 70 in 1898 and converted to oil.
71 was built by Baldwin in 1897 and was originally Union Pacific 9 until 1898.
235, Class A-3-E2, was built by Baldwin in 1910, #35260. It was scrapped in August 1948.
