Motor Cars

1900, RDC1, Class DC-1, was built by Budd in December 1950, #6201, in 6510.  It was renumbered 1900 in October 1956 and renumbered 9911 July 29, 1970.  It was sold as Maryland Department of Transportation 9811 in July 1980 and renumbered as MARC 8 in September 1989.  It retired in 1994 and leased permanently  to the B&O Railway Museum.

1906, RDC1, Class DC-1, was built by Budd in April 1953, #5814, as 6516.   It was renumbered 1906 in October 1956 and 9916 on August 2, 1970.  It was sold as MDOT 9916 in July 1980.  It renumbered as MARC 11 in September 1989.  It was retired on January 8, 1993, and stripped to become a control coach in 1994.  It was cancelled and stored for sale in October 1998. 

1908, RDC1, Class DC-1, was built by Budd in October 1956, #6611.  It was renumbered 9920 on August 14, 1970, and sold as MDOT 9920 in 1980.  It became MARC 20 in September 1989.  It was retired on January 8 1993, and sold to Kasten Rail Car Service on April 15, 1995.  It was sold as Tennessee Valley Railway Museum 20 in 1996.

1910, RDC1, Class DC-1, was built by Budd in October 1956, #6513.  It was renumbered 9922 on August 16, 1970, and sold as MDOT 9922 in 1980.  It was rebuilt by Northern Rail Car Corp in August 1987 as MARC 22.  It was retired on January 8, 1993, and sold to Kasten Rail Service on April 15, 1995.  It was sold as TVRM 22 in 1996.

1913, RDC1, Class DC-1, was built by Budd in April 1952, #5603, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe DC-191, RDC1.  It was sold as B&O 1913, Class DC-1, in February 1970 and renumbered 9918 in 1970. 

1960, RDC2, Class DC-4, was built by Budd in October 1956, #6505.  It was renumbered 9940 on August 18, 1970, sold as MDOT 9940 in 1980.  It was rebuilt by Northern Rail Car Co in 1987 as MARC 1.  It was retired on January 8, 1993 and sold to Kasten Rail Car Services on April 15, 1995.  It was sold to James Gagliardi in December 1998 and restored as B&O 1960 in 2006.

 

1971, RDC1, Class DC-2, was built by Budd in April 1950, #2993, as Chicago & North Western 9933. It was sold to Chesapeake & Ohio as 9061 in September 1957. It became B&O 1971, Class DC-2, in June 1965. It was burned in February 1966 and sold to Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority in September 1969. It later was sold to Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority as 10 and is now at the Illinois Railway Museum.

1972, RDC2, Class DC-2, was built by Budd in March 1955, #6015, as Long Island RR 3121, Class RDC-2.  It was sold as B&O 1972, Class DC-2, in August 1968 and renumbered 9921 in 1970.  It was renumbered 9931 on August 2, 1970, and retired in July 1980.  It was sold to MARC and rebuilt by General Electric as 9821 in 1982.  It was wrecked at Camden Station on November 19, 1982, and retired.

6003 was built by St Louis Car Co in September 1926, #1386C, Electro-Motive #171.  It was rebuilt as Sperry Rail Service 119 in November 1933 by St Louis Car Co #1567, Electro-Motive #517.

6004 was built by St Louis Car Co in September 1926, #1368, Electro-Motive #172.  It was rebuilt as SRS 118 in November 1933 by St Louis Car Co #1567, Electro-Motive #516.

6007 was built by St Louis Car Co in September 1926, #1386A, Electro-Motive #175.  It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in December 1928, #363, as Lehigh Valley 15 and rebuilt as SRS 128 in August 1939.
