Older Passenger Cars
303 was built by American Car Co in 1898 as Capital Traction Co 303. It is now at the Smithsonian.
522 was built by American Car Co in 1898 as Capital Traction Co 222. It was renumbered 522 in 1906 and rebuilt as rail grinder 0522 in 1937. It was donated to National Capital Trolley Museum in 1962/
650 was built by Brill Car Co in 1912, #19232, as Washington Ry & Electric Ry 650. It became Capital Transit 650 in 1934 and preserved by Electric Railroaders Assn in 1945 and sent to the Branford Electric Railway Assn in 1947. It was sold to NCTM in 2002.
713 was built by Kuhlman Car Co in 1918 as WR&E 713. It became Capital Transit 713 in 1934. It was rebuilt in 1940 and scrapped in 1950.
766 was built by Kuhlman Car Co in 1918 as Capital Traction Co 27. It was rebuilt in 1931 and became Capital Transit 766 in 1934. It was at the National Capital Trolley Museum and damaged in a collision in 1987. On September 28, 2003, it was damaged in a major fire and is being restored as 27.
