General Electric U30C Diesels

 

5309, Class U-30C, was built in January 1972, #38250.  It was retired in February 1987 and sold to Erman-Howell in August 1987.

5321, Class U-30-C, was built in March 1972, #38351.  It was retired in October 1990 and sold to Pielet Brothers in October 1990.  It was sold as Kyle RR as 5321.

5325, Class U-30-C, was built in April 1972, #38255.  It was renumbered 1776 on April 10, 1975, and returned as 5325.  It was retired and sold to Pielet Brothers in October 1990.

5327, Class U-30-C, was built in April 1972, #38357.  It was retired in February 1987 and scrapped by BN in March 1987.

5334, Class U-30-C, was built in May 1972, #38364.  It was retired on December 6, 1990, and sold to Azcon Corp in December 1990.

5375, Class U-30-C, was built in November 1974, #39934.  It was retired in 1996.

5379, Class U-30-C, was built in November 1974, #39938.  It was retired in 1996.

5383, Class U-30-C, was built in November 1974, #39942.  It was donated to Illinois Railway Museum on September 224, 1994.

5391, Class U-30-C, was built in November 1974, #39950.  It was retired in May 1993.

5397, Class U-30-C, was built in June 1968, #36792, as Colorado & Southern 891.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 5397, Class U-30-C, and in January 1982 it became BN 5397, Class U-30-C.  It was retired in July 1986 and sold for scrap to St Louis Auto Shredding in November 1987.

5398, Class U-30-C, was built in July 1968, #36793, as C&S 892.  In August 1979 it was renumbered 5398, Class U-30-C, and in January 1982 it became BN 5398, Class U-30-C.  It was retired in July 1986.

5808, Class U-30-C, was built in July 1973, #39291.  It was retired in October 1990 and sold to Pielet Brothers in October 1990.  It was sold as Kyle RR as 5808.

5812, Class U-30-C, was built in July 1973, #39295.  It was retired in May 1989 and sold to Pielet Brothers in July 1989.

5830, Class U-30-C, was built in May 1974, #39725.  It was retired in April 1989 and sold as Lake Superior & Ishpeming 5830 in April 1989.  It was renumbered 3002 in April 1989 and scrapped in 2008.

5832, Class U-30-C, was built in May 1974, #39729.  It was retired in April 1989 and sold as LS&I 3008 in August 1989.

5837, Class U-30-C, was built in June 1975, #40602.  It was retired in September 1990 and sold to National Railway Equipment Co on Decembner 13, 1990.

5904. Class U-30-C, was built in December 1972, #38578, as 5357.  It was renumbered 5904 in 1975 and sold to Motive Power Services in April 1990.

5918, Class U-30-C, was built in July 1973, #39268.  It was retired in October 1990 and sold to Pielet Brothers in October 1990.  It was sold as Kyle as 5918.

5920, Class U-30-C, was built in November 1973, #39430.  It was retired on January 8, 1991, and sold to National Railway Equipment Co on April 6, 1991.

5924, Class U30-C, was built in November 1973, #39434.  It was retired in October 1990 and sold to Pielet Brothers in October 1990.

5936, Class U-30-C, was built in May 1974, #39728.  It was retired in April 1989 and sold as LS&I 3052 in August 1989.

5937, Class U-30-C, was built in May 1974, #39730.  It was retired in April 1989 and sold as LS&I 3003 in April 1989.

5938, Class U-30-C, was built in May 1974, #39732.  It was retired in April 1989 and sold as LS&I 3053 in August 1989.

5940, Class U-30-C, was built in June 1975, #40399.  It was retired in September 1990.
