Photos Edaville RR
1, 23 Ton, was built by General Electric in August 1949, #30491, as Whitin Machine Works 5. It was renumbered 1 and sold as Edaville 1 in 1967. It was sold as Maine Narrow Gauge RR 1 in 1993.
2, 23 Ton, was built by General Electric in August 1949, #30490, as WMW 4. It became Edaville 2 in 1967.
1st 3 was built by Vulcan in 1913, #2093, as Monson RR 3. It went to Edaville in 1943 and sold to Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in 1993. It has been restored as Monson 3.
2nd 3, 23 Ton, was built by General Electric in May 1950, #30580, as WMW 3. It was sold to Steam Village RR in 1967 and sold to Koppers Co in 1975. It was sold as Edaville 3 in 1980. It was damaged enroute and never repaired. It was sold for parts to MNGR in 1993.
4 was built by Vulcan in 1918, #2780, as Monson RR 4. It went to Edaville in 1943 and sold to MNGRM in 1993,. It has been restored as Monson 4.
7 was built by Baldwin in November 1913, #40864, as Bridgeton & Saco River RR 7. It was re-organized as B&H 8 in June 1930. When it was abandoned in 1941 it was purchased to B O Checkoway in July 1941. It was resold to John Holt and Frank Walsh in October 1941 and sold to Ellis Atwood in 1945. It become Edaville 7. It went to Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in 1998 and has been restored as B&H 7.

8 was built by H K Porter in June 1924, #6917, as Raritan Copper Works 8. It became International Smelting & Refining Co 8 in 1934 which is an Anaconda company. It was sold as Edaville 8 and resold to Harry Stebbins as 8.
11 was built by H K Porter in May 1925, #6976, as RCW 11. It became IS&R 11 in 1934 and sold as Edaville 11.
14 was built by Brookville.
21 was built by Jackson & Sharp in 1903 as Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes RR 21. It was acquired as Edaville 21.

Meadow River Lumber Co 1 was built by Lima in May 1910, #2317. It was donated to Edaville in July 1959 and transferred to F Nelson Blount as Steamtown in January 1963. In February 1982, the building in it was collapsed under heavy snow. The cab was destroyed but it was sent to Scranton in 1985 as Steamtown National Historical Site.
