Pacific Fruit Express
1023, S3, was built by Alco in March 1951, #78518, as Southern Pacific 1023, Class DS-8. It was Class AS407-1 in 1966 and transferred to PFE as 1023 in February 1966 and retired in October 1974.
1209, S6, was built by Alco in May 1955, #81292, as SP 1042, Class DS-9. It was renumbered 1209, Class AS409-1, in 1966, and transferred to PFE as 1209 in March 1968. It later went as A. L. Gilbert Co 1209. It was scrapped in 2005.
